Known to be the first of its kind, the TWO L(I)PS Blackout Mask was actually conceptualised and formulated right here in Singapore. Created by Cynthia Chua, the founder and director of the Spa Esprit Group, the mask was developed after she heard customers expressing concerns about dryness and darkness in the crotch area.
Other common issues women experience around the vulva region? Odours, ingrown hairs, and even scarring.
With that in mind, she set out to design a mask for the vulva that would challenge taboos and get people talking about one of the most underrated (and underappreciated) areas of your body.

The mask is designed specifically for your vulva, which refers to the entirety of your external sex organs. That means your vagina, your clitoris, your urethral opening… the list goes on. It explains the unique shape behind the Blackout Mask, which kind of looks like an inverted bunny.

What does the TWO L(I)PS Blackout Mask do for your vulva?
Sure, skinny jeans might never go out of style, but constantly wearing too tight clothes can lead to friction and chafing, which, in turn, causes skin to appear dry and dull. This is where the TWO L(I)PS Blackout Mask comes in, really: it rejuvenates and brightens the skin of your vulva, with it boosting lymphatic drainage properties all whilst freshening your private area effortlessly.
Infused with a serum that contains skin nourishing ingredients such as Cornflower, Elderberry, and Chamomile, it does a variety of things for your skin, namely: detoxing, hydrating, soothing, and brightening. Detoxing is made possible with the inclusion of Binchotan Charcoal, whereas White Liquorice is mostly used to brighten and even out skin tone.
How do I use the TWO L(I)PS Blackout Mask?
The first step to any good facial is getting into the mood of things, of course, so why should this be any different? Set the atmosphere for your vulva party by lighting a few candles, dimming the lights and cueing up a soothing playlist, of course.
Once everything is in place, wash and dry your vulva, then get comfortable. Tear open the seal and unfold the mask, peeling off the protective plastic sheet as you go. Place it face up (the lace side facing up) before folding the flaps back onto your inner thighs. Kinda works like a pad, doesn’t it?
Leave it on for 15-20 minutes to enjoy the best possible effects behind the mask. Stumped as to what to do while waiting? We got a curious member of our team to try it out for herself! Here’s what she thought of it:
“I won’t lie— it was a little strange, at first, and I had to suppress a giggle or two as I lined the mask up. It left a soothing, cooling sensation on my skin, which I found myself enjoying after a while! It takes some getting used to, but by the end of the 15 minutes, I was feeling pretty relaxed about the entire thing. It just felt like a normal part of my beautification routine, actually: no big deal to it.”
