I have been using the Braun WaterFlex WF2 for a while now, mostly for beard maintenance, and I can tell you that it is a highly versatile and effective electric shaver.

A little peek inside the box
The WaterFlex’s claim to fame is its ability to bring water into the electric shaving equation. That’s right guys, you can now use water, foam or gel when you use the Braun Waterflex electric shaver. The secret to this innovation is in its IPX7 tested, 100% fully sealed body. The Braun WaterFlex WF2 doesn’t let any water in, and can be immersed in up to 5 metres of water without any water damage. Swivel for comfort
The swivel head has a wide range of motion, pivoting a full 33 degrees to give full coverage during a shave. What I like about this swivel head is its ability to move along the contours of my face easily. I didn’t need to press down or exert any pressure to make it move along at all.

The shaver head foil was developed with over 50 years of foil technology from Braun. The company calls this new foil the OptiBladeTM, patterned and shaped to capture more hair and cut deeper. Combined with a 3-blade cutting system, the OptiBladeTM allows for optimal closeness to the skin.

The other thing I really loved is the long hair trimmer. This additional side tool slides up from the body, so you don’t need to fiddle with any attachments. The long hair trimmer is perfect for paring down sideburns. More importantly, you can use this to shape your moustache and beards!

If you’re worried about keeping the WaterFlex clean, Braun’s got that covered too. the foil head snaps open quickly to expose the blades underneath. Thanks to the waterproof feature, you can run it directly under water. The kit also comes with a brush to get rid of stubborn remnants that you can’t remove with running water.
