Not known to many, a good spa or aesthetics clinic does not only depend on the products they use and the skills of their therapists or doctors, but also in the equipment they have invested in.
Homegrown spa, d’skin, believes in investing in top-grade equipment to ensure their customers are able to get the best possible treatments available in Singapore and near their homes.
Skin Analysis With Soft Plus
d’skin recently invested in a high-end skin analysis machine that is endorsed and used by medical clinics and doctors called Soft Plus. With the Soft Plus, d’skin is one of the first skin treatment centres in Singapore that is able to assess the pH level of their customer’s skin.
Before every treatment, they will scan their customer’s face to see how much it has improved or deteriorate.
You are able to find out how big your pores are, skin’s hydration level, how much sebum you are producing, your skin’s elasticity, pH level and more. While doing the analysis, the therapist will also share nuggets of beauty tips with you so that you can learn how to overcome those issues which the machines detected.
If you are afraid that you may forget your results, don’t worry! After the analysis is completed, a result slip will be printed together with recommended treatment solutions.
d’skin Treatment Review
I went for the Oxygenating Treatment (a la carte price of SGD198) that lasted for about one and half hours.
A high-pressure oxygen jet was used to “blast” my face. The cooling sensation stimulates the skin cell to work harder to regenerate. This treatment has been known to strengthen the skin’s elasticity, reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pores, and is clinically proven to increase hydration level up to 40%.
Throughout the treatment, the therapist was very professional and did not talk too much (some therapist may just be too overly-conversational, and I know most of us just want to relax and not talk). When I kept quiet, she probably thought I was sleeping already, thus didn’t continue chatting with me.
After a series of oxygen treatments were done on my face, the therapist finished it off with a facial mask. While the mask was doing its job for the next 15 to 20 minutes, the therapist gave me a head, neck and shoulder massage – the best and firmest one I’ve ever had.
My Thoughts On d’skin
As I only had the opportunity to try it for one time, it is difficult for me to tell if it could really help improve my skin’s elasticity and reduce fine lines since I don’t have much yet.
What I did notice was it gave a glow to my skin and the hydration it required. Plus, what more could I have asked for than a pampering massage to end off the session?
