The new Estee Lauder Double Wear Makeup To Go Liquid Compact is not to be confused with a BB Cushion that many other brands have been launching one after another. I think it’s more appropriate to describe it as Estee Lauder liquid foundation, now made even more convenient.

The packaging is really smart: the liquid foundation is housed within the compact, and with the push of a button, a small amount is dispensed onto a “plate” and you can enjoy spill-free, mess-free liquid foundation on the go.

Because of how inconvenient it is, I don’t ever bring along a liquid foundation for touch-ups when I’m out, no matter how much I may love its finish. This newly-designed Estee Lauder Double Wear Makeup To Go Liquid Compact makes it liquid foundation portable. It’s so convenient, it’ll go places, quite literally.

A small amount of formula is dispensed and you can pick it up with a sponge that's provided.

In terms of its formula, I like that it’s very hydrating, probably thanks to the inclusion of the Tri-Moisture Complex (hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and muru muru butter). Its finish also exudes an effortless radiance.

However, I notice that the coverage is rather light and not quite buildable. While this is good enough for me because I don’t have a lot of blemish to conceal, I would think that those who prefer more substantial coverage is going to find it less satisfactory.

The Estee Lauder Double Wear Makeup To Go Liquid Compact is available in 11 shades, and is available at all Estee Lauder counters and boutique, at SGD68.
