We love lipsticks for their vivid shades, lip glosses for their shine, and lip stains for their longevity: now, Etude House promises to put these great traits together, and present Color in Liquid Lips.
In 20 vivid shades including shades of pink, beige, coral, orange and purple, the products in this collection offers plush and velvety texture that goes on the lips effortlessly. They are also formulated with Sweet Almond Oil and Sunflower Seed Oil that help lips remain hydrated.
Our favourite shades? OR205 Made in Sweet, PK006 Always in Pink, BE102 Beige in Chic, and PP502 Purple in Friday.
On top of these qualities, the Water Drop Tip technology in the product can help the user achieve the gradation lips effect easily. You’ll probably also love the cute packaging, which looks like a lipstick at first, but you’ll realise it actually works like a lip gloss instead.
Is the Etude House Color in Liquid Lips good?
The colour can be really intimidating at first (I’m wearing PK006 in the picture), but I warmed up to it very quickly because of how creamy its texture is, and how easy it is to apply it with precision using the tip. I find it very easy to trace out the shape of the lips that I want.
Despite the great colour payoff, the Etude House Color in Liquid Lips surprisingly hydrating. I also love that it comes with a subtle berry scent.
Take note that you should try to scrub your lips or make sure that there aren’t any dryness, because the vivid colours can emphasise on these flaws. But once you scrub well and make your lips look smooth, it goes on very well.
Another thing to take note of: this transfers very easily, so be really careful when you change, because it will get onto your collars. Your beau is probably not going to like it very much on his shirt too.
The Etude House Color in Liquid Lips retails at SGD17.90 and are available at all Etude House boutiques.
