Beauty enthusiasts will understand when we say makeup is magic. But if we ever find it too hard to convince anyone who isn’t impressed by the wonder of makeup, we have found example that will get even the most adamant makeup-atheist bewildered.

Holographic lips.

This is created with the Sigma’s Lip Switch lip glosses, and Instagram users can’t get enough of them.

The Sigma Lip Switch lip gloss is available in five variants:

Double Whammy, a green and lavender duo-chrome

Flip-Flop, a fiery orange gloss with holographic finish

Other Worldly, a frosty green gloss

Pink Lotus, a bold, prismatic pink

Transcend, with cool, purple opal tones

While they look good on their own, their greatest beauty is really in how they transform any lip colour and make magic. Just look at these:

Teen Vogue reviewed these gorgeous lip glosses, and said that they aren’t just eye candies, but also have a lightweight, non-sticky formula that’s comfortable to wear.

On the Sigma website, most reviewers who bought the product described the lip glosses as “fun” and love the amazing effect they give. However, many of them complained about the stiffness of the wand.

While online stores in Singapore like Sephora and Zalora carry Sigma products, at press time, we find that they didn’t carry the Sigma Lip Switch. The only Singapore online store that we can find carrying it is Shopping District, but it only has the Other Worldly shade.

Sigma website, which ships internationally, carries all five shades. Each lip gloss retails at USD14. If you want to try all five colours – good news! – they have launched a set of five full-sized lip glosses at USD34.
