I have very oily and sensitive skin and cream moisturisers with their thick, pore-clogging formula are my worst enemy. So you can safely assume my initial reaction upon hearing the name “Ultra Facial Cream” wasn’t exactly positive. I had no doubt the moisturiser would work for people with normal to dry skin, as I have heard nothing but good things about Kiehl’s products, but on my oily, finicky skin, I couldn’t help but expect greasiness, clogged pores, and even irritation.
Imagine my surprise when I put this moisturiser on my face for the first time and felt it absorb almost instantly into my skin. The texture was actually more lightweight and gel-like rather than a thick cream that I had expected, and it didn’t sit heavily on my skin at all. The absence of heavy fragrance was also very much appreciated.
The next morning, I woke up to my skin feeling softer, plumper, and most importantly, less oily than usual. The moisturiser performed well throughout the day, too. Being in a cold, air-conditioned environment all day, my skin would start feeling tight towards the middle of the day. But ever since I started using Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream, I have not noticed the tightness on my skin as much. It also layers well under my makeup. My foundation and concealer go on smoothly without caking up like with some of my previous moisturisers.
All in all, I was thoroughly impressed with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream. It delivers everything it claims to do: provide hydration and moisture without irritating the skin. I can totally see it becoming a staple in my skincare routine, as it is such a versatile product that can be used both day and night, in colder or warmer environments.

My first impression of Ultra Facial Cream was that its texture is extremely smooth and lightweight. The gel-like consistency helps the product glide onto the skin easily and absorb fairly quickly. Not only does it feel refreshing and soothing once it’s fully absorbed into the skin, it also leaves a very healthy and natural glow, which is a huge change compared to how dull and tired my skin looked previously.
What I love about this product is that it delivers what it promises and keeps my skin well-hydrated throughout the day, even in colder environments like air-conditioned rooms. My skin used to start flaking mid day and that doesn’t happen when I use this product.
The best part is, despite how hydrating and moisturising this product is, it does not make my face feel greasy and cause breakouts even on warm and humid days. It is also lightweight enough to use underneath my makeup without making it look cakey.
I would say this moisturiser has exceeded my expectations and really has ticked all my boxes of what a moisturiser needs to do for my skin. I would definitely recommend this moisturiser to my friends and family.

I love how this moisturiser is lightweight yet very hydrating. The gel-like texture is less sticky than my previous moisturiser. It absorbs very well and my skin instantly feels soft and smooth, instead of feeling tight. I also really like the fact that it has no smell at all.
I do wish this moisturiser came in a squeezy tube, though. The jar makes it difficult to gauge how much I need to scoop out to use for my whole face.

Kiehl’s has been one of my favorite brands as I love most of their products and they worked well for my skin. And Ultra Facial Cream turned out to be no exception.
I love how plump and moisturised it makes my skin feel. I sleep in an air conditioned room and feel that my skin still feels hydrated when I wake up the next morning.
I also like the gel to cream consistency as it doesn’t feel too heavy on the skin. It does feel a bit tacky right after applying but absorbs fairly quickly after that.

I have dry skin so I need a moisturiser that provides long-lasting hydration and moisturising effect while reducing the occurrence of any flaky and dry skin. It also needs to absorb easily and not feel too heavy on the skin. And after trying out Ultra Facial Cream, I would say it checks all of my boxes for an all-rounded moisturiser, especially in tropical climates.
The moisturiser is lightweight, with very low to no fragrance. I was pleasantly surprised that it does seem to alleviate dryness and provide rather lasting hydration. Given the light texture it is quite impressive. Compared to other moisturisers I have used, I saw results faster with Ultra Facial Cream.
Overall, I was very impressed with the product in terms of effectiveness and would definitely recommend it.

This moisturiser absorbs quickly and helps my skin feel more hydrated throughout the day, even after being out in the sun or after the gym. My face seems to look brighter and less tired, too. However, in very cold, air-conditioned rooms, my face can feel a bit dry.
Compared to other cream moisturisers, which feel heavy and a bit greasy on the skin, this product is light and I can’t feel it on my face after applying. I also like how it has no strong smell.
