Best known as a luxury jeweller, Bvlgari is also in the business of perfumery, with a successful collection of fragrances called Omnia. The latest to add to the family is the Omnia Indian Garnet, created by Bvlgari and Alberto Morillas around the unique mandarin garnet.

A tribute to India, this newest jewel-perfume is a floral and woody scent that’s invigorating and feminine. Its top note features Sicilian Mandarin and Saffron, both fresh and exuberant, to point to the magical and energetic aspects of India; it develops into a feminine heart, consisting of Indian Tuberose and Osmanthus, both oriental floral scents that are opulent and sensuous. Finally, the fragrance ends with Indian Woods, which blends with the warmth of Amber to offer a touch of mystery to the scent.

What Do We Think Of The Bvlgari Omnia Indian Garnet?

The first impression of the fragrance is won over by the elegant and dazzling perfume bottle, which is in the shape of a Mobius ring, a loop twisted around itself forming the shape of an infinity sign. This infinity symbol precisely carries the element of the divine that his fragrance seeks to express. The orange colour also gives a sense of energy, making it a great perk-me-up on the eyes, even before I spritz it on myself in the morning.

The opening scent overwhelms me a little, but it eventually grows on me. I like that it doesn’t smell “conventional”, which makes it a distinctive scent that others can identify you by.

When it reaches the heart notes, the fragrance become more easy on the nose, and is a versatile scent to wear to work or play.

This is a fragrance I will go for if I feel like standing out, or on those days I feel like channelling a sense of mystery.

The Bvlgari Omnia Indian Garnet EDT Collection is available 25ml, 40ml and 65ml, and also has a body oil, and a limited edition scented soap.
