We’re very intrigued with the latest nail lacquer launch by YSL Beauty – the La Laque Couture Tie & Dye, which can be used alone for a subtle sheen, or used on top of your favourite nail colour to give it a magical touch.
We applied the YSL Tie & Dye top coat alone on the index finger and pinkie nails, and on top of the Exposed nail polish for the thumb, middle finger and ring finger nails.
The sheen makes the shade look iridescent, such that the orange also carry an interesting touch of gold. When worn alone, the shade actually looks more like icy coral, and gives a very sophisticated “naked” nail look (and we know that nude nails are super on trend). The YSL top coat is super easy to apply too and dries fast.
In the photo that you see above, the YSL nail polish has already been shaken. Before we shook it, it’s actually a tri-phase lacquer that layers iridescent nacrés, colour and high-shine. Take a look at how they’re like before you shake them:
The shades available in this collection include:
Corail Divin and Cool Coat (a cool coral shade), Rose Renaissnce and Pop Coat (a vibrant pop pink), Violine Surrealist and Hip Coat (an energetic purple shade) and Bleu Majorelle and Ice Coat (an intense, icy blue). You can also choose to wear the triphase top coat alone to achieve an eye-catching naked nail effect.
The YSL La Laque Couture Tie & Dye retails at S$35 each.
