Ask any beauty junkie which is one beauty item she can’t live without, I’m sure most would say it’s mascara. And it’s not surprising, because long and lush-looking lashes make eyes look more attractive and they help to frame and open up the eyes a lot more.
There are quite a number of lash serums in the market and I’ve tried two previously. The latest that I had a chance to try is the Elizabeth Arden Prevage Clinical Lash + Brow Enhancing Serum. This new addition to the Prevage family helps lashes (and brows) by reducing the incidences of breakage, help strengthen them, and enhance the appearance of lashes at all three stages of their life cycle.
This product is also produced in partnership with Bascom-Palmer Eye Institute, a world-renowned eye hospital, to make sure that it is clinically proven and dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested.
How to use Elizabeth Arden Lash + Brow Serum?
It’s pretty simple! Just run the brush along the lash line (both top and bottom) like how you would apply a liquid eyeliner. And for the brows, apply along the brows in a zigzag motion. You just have to apply it once at bedtime.
Does Elizabeth Arden Lash + Brow Serum works?
Seeing is believing. Here are the before and after photos.
(Note that I was wearing mascara before I took the photo for Week 0, and then I cleanse it away with a makeup remover when I took the photo. This will explain some remnants that you may see on the eyelid.)
Lashes also feel softer and more hydrated. I noticed that one advantage of longer lashes is that it is also much easier to apply mascara now since it’s easier for the mascara brush to “locate” the lashes, and less smudges occur. The very first noticeable result is probably on the lower lashes for me. I begin to notice they’re longer than they used to be in the first week after using. And if you could see in the second picture where I showed my lower lashes – they really look quite impressive!
