I’m talking about the La Prairie Caviar Firming Facial, which is usually offered overseas in 5-star hotels, and at a hefty price tag. Using its signature Skin Caviar range, this is offered at the facial cabin located at La Prairie’s counter at Takashimaya S.C.
At the heart of this facial treatment is the La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Cream. This rich cream holds the promise of firming, improving skin’s elasticity, while delivering hydration and radiance to the skin. My therapist has nimble hands that work up a great facial massage. Focusing on pressure points that aid with microcirculation, she massaged through the entire face and around the eye area to enhance the benefits of the luxurious products. No extraction is done during the process.
I particularly enjoyed the “shower” using the Cellular Energizing Body Spray onto my arms and hands after the hand massage. This is a body mist that also doubles up as a fragrance, and can help you to relax while hydrating the skin. I love the scent and like how it can instantly perk me up.
After the facial treatment, my pores look more refined and my skin has a glow to it. I went for it at the peak of the haze (that day when it hit PSI 400) and met my friends for dinner after that. None of my friends could tell that I wasn’t wearing any makeup at all, and yet my skin looks radiant instead of having a grey cast that many are experiencing, no thanks to the haze.
