Ready to go Nude? theBalm Cosmetics has launched their new Nude Dude Palette with 12 wearable and neutral eyeshadow colours perfect for every day wear. Alongside the palette, they’ve also launched 12 retractable pencil eyeliners, Mr. Write (Now).
What We Think
Firstly, can we just bring attention to the names of the products? theBalm is known for their quirky and *ehem* punny names for their products. Not only that, it’s even reflected in the packaging too!
The eyeshadows in the palette are really wearable and they can be used wet for even more intensity and pigmentation. When used dry, the shadows are pigmented enough to have a payoff on the eyelids, but not overly-pigmented that it messes up your eye makeup look. The shadows are also quite powdery, so I highly recommend you to tap off any excess on your eyeshadow brush before application.
The Mr. Write (Now) Eyeliners come in eight different shades that are all relatively easy-to-wear, including colours like a khaki green and burgundy, just to name a few. They are incredibly pigmented and creamy! If you prefer to soften out your eyeliner for a more subtle look, you’ll be happy to know that it’s easy to blend this formula.
One of the shades is of a nude, cream colour (Brian B. Beige) and it’s amazing for lining the waterline to brighten the eyes. The product even comes with a tiny little sharpener that you can use to sharpen the tip of the retractable eye pencil! Just pull the coloured portion at the bottom of the packaging and voila! A mini sharpener!
You can get your hands on theBalm cosmetics at SaSa outlets. The Nude Dude palette retails for SGD71.90 and the Mr. Write (Now) Eyeliners retail for SGD33.90 each.
