If you are one of those who screamed along with us when we shared the release of the UDxGwen eyeshadow palette, you’ll probably be excited about this one, which is launching TOMORROW.
That palette that was launched at Christmas last year wasn’t the last you’re hearing from pop and style icon Gwen Stefani and Urban Decay – this year, their collaboration will bring about gorgeous lipsticks, lip pencils, a brow palette, and last but not least, a blush palette. This blush palette isn’t just the star of this collection, but is the first-ever blush palette produced by Urban Decay.
Before we continue our ceaseless gushing about our new favourite product from Urban Decay, check out this video to find out why Gwen Stefani is collaborating with Urban Decay and the thoughts put into the products.
Coming back to the blush palette, we are in love because of the gorgeous packaging it comes into. There’s no detail that’s spared: from the shiny paper box that carries the palette,
to the palette design,
and finally six gorgeous blush shades in the palette.
All six blush shades have their own function and charm. Let’s take a closer look at each of them.
Cherry is perfect for everyday wear, because its soft finish gives skin a pretty glow.
Easy is my personal favourite because of the iridescent colour it offers, crossing between healthy red and glamorous gold. Like its name suggests, this is really easy to wear.
Angel serves more as an everyday highlighter that you can also apply along your nose, chin, and forehead. Or like more conventionally, on the highest point of your cheek bones after your favourite blusher for added radiance.
Lo-Fi is a sculpting colour that you can either wear as a blusher to give a sunkissed look, or use this matte powder to contour your cheekbones.
Hush is a very flattering shimmer powder that you can even consider using as an eyeshadow.
Finally, OC is an orange-based powder that you can use to brighten up your complexion and makes it look healthier.
The blush palette (SGD78), along with the other products in the collection will be launched on 3 March, at Sephora and Urban Decay free-standing boutiques at #01-13, VivoCity and #01-16, Bugis Junction.
We are hyperventilating over this: #UDxGwen collection. You’ve seen the eyeshadow palette last year but you haven’t seen ’em all until you get your hands on these: blush palette ($78, and the first-ever blush palette by UD!), lipsticks ($33, in 8 shades), and lip pencils ($32, in 6 shades). These will be available at Sephora stores and UD stores (VivoCity and Bugis Junction) from 3 March. #GOALS!
