1. Go online and find the salon or salon you are looking for
There are over 800 hair salons, nail salons, spas and many others that you can choose from! I wanted to make an appointment at Kim Robinson so I searched for “Kim Robinson” and was directed to www.vaniday.com.sg/kimrobinson to make my online booking.
2. Pick your preferred service
I picked the service I wanted and it brought me to the dates and timings that were available for me to make my appointment.
3. Pick your preferred timing
4. Make your payment online
5. Booking secured!
It took me less than five minutes to secure a booking. A couple of minutes later I received a reminder text of my appointment.
I also received a call from Vaniday as the timing I chose was a tad too early and that the salon accepts their first customer at 10am. How efficient! It’s great so that you’re able to reschedule just in case you can’t make it at the time they suggested as compared to the timing that you initially chose.
6. Show up, smile and enjoy your session!
Upon arrival at the salon, all I had to do was say hello to the counter staff at Kim Robinson and got my hair cut, washed and styled!
Booking using the Vaniday App
It works the same as on the web – just in an App format for your phone. The Vaniday App is available on iOS and Android.
Overall Thoughts
It was really easy and fuss-free. Because you have to pay the session online, all you have to do is show up and enjoy your session! However, I would recommend booking a salon or service that you’re very familiar with. That’s because if you went to a salon or service you’ve never gone to/tried before, you may or may not enjoy the service. If it’s the latter, then you could end up spending your money on a service you didn’t enjoy at all.
Other Beauty Booking Websites
Yes, there are actually other beauty service booking websites and apps too!
The Vanitee app connects you the beauty professional closest to you – and these includes freelance beauty professionals. Other than allowing you to book for your preferred services and appointments, you can also request to book for your preferred artist.
Spabbly is another booking service with an app, and one of their unique selling points is that they also partner with hotels all over the world so you can secure a pampering session at your next travel destination easily.
Other than providing booking services, PagePink also have deals or promos for the beauty services. It also has a listing service for beauty business owners to appear on the website so potential customers can find you and make a booking.
