SK-II Korean Celebrity Ambassador, Lee Yeon Hee, recently came to Singapore for the brand’s event held at VivoCity, where their festive gift sets were launched. We caught up with the Miss Korea star in a media interview during the event, where she shares with us her thoughts on beauty.
Daily Vanity (DV): What have you been busy with recently?
Lee Yeon Hee (YH): I’ve just finished the movie sequel of Joseon Detective 2 which is scheduled to be released around Chinese New Year. And I’ve also been attending many other SK-II events in Korea.
DV: Actresses have a busy schedule, so how do you keep up with your skin regime?
YH: I think cleansing is very important, so I focus a lot on making sure I cleanse my face properly.
DV: What are the SK-II products you cannot live without.
YH: I love the Facial Treatment Essence and the SK-II Magnetic Eye Care, but the latter is only available in Korea.
DV: Why do you think everyone is into Korean beauty these days?
YH: I think it’s because of the popularity of the K-Wave that has been evading the world’s TV and computer screens. From there, people realised Koreans are good-looking, hence they begin to follow K-beauty standards.
