UVA rays: There are three types of UV rays: UVA, UVB and UVC. UVC are cancer-causing rays and can be blocked out by the ozone most of the time. UVB is what makes your skin burn under the sun. But when it comes to skincare, what we are most worried about is UVA rays, which damage your skin and cause the appearance of wrinkles and pigmentation. Choose sunscreens that come with the PA+ symbols because this is an indication that it gives your protection against UVA rays.
