We’re sure you’ve been in this situation: your toenail polish has chipped or needs a refreshing, and it’s time to get rid of it.

Thanks to a TikTok video that has gone viral, we know exactly what to use: a tampon.
TikTok user @ag380gtmgmt shares her latest beauty hack on the social media platform.
Holding up a tampon with its applicator on, she used the tampon to soak up nail polish remover she has dispensed on the lid of the bottle. Then, using the tip of the tampon, she goes over her big toenail, removing the polish thoroughly and precisely, without messing up the polish on her fingernails.
