Song Hye-Kyo is undoubtedly one of Korea’s most beautiful actresses. The A-list star may be in her late 30s, but when Daily Vanity saw her in person at the press conference in Singapore, we swear we couldn’t tell she’s a day past 30. Song, who is the muse for Korean luxury brand Sulwhasoo, was in Singapore for the launch of the new Bloomstay Vitalizing range of products.
She candidly told the media that she has been blessed by her mother’s good complexion, so she has never really experienced trouble with her skin – how lucky! But she admits that she isn’t “completely young anymore”, and so she tries to take care of her skin and do more anti-ageing care.
Her daily routine? Use a mask everyday. She uses the Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Creamy Mask, which she doesn’t just bring along when she travels, but also faithfully use it on a daily basis at home. She also exercises and visits aesthetic clinics.
She said that she uses a wide range of Sulwhasoo products in her routine. The Sulwhasoo First Care Activitating Serum is a mainstay in her regime. Recently, because of filming, she found that her skin became drier as she is constantly under strong lighting. So she started using more of the new Bloomstay Vitalizing products, and is especially generous with application at night.
“I’ve been told if you take care of your skin in your 20s, it’ll show up in your 30s. If you care for it in your 30s, it’ll show up in your 40s,” she shared, when asked about her approach towards anti-ageing. Song said that she heard this advice in her early 30s and has since been trying to keep up with skin maintenance by allowing her skin to rest and to be conscientious with her skincare routine.
But the flawless-looking actress isn’t completely “perfect”. She admits that when she isn’t working, she tends to be a bit lazy and when she lapses in her care, her skin won’t be in tip-top condition.
“But thankfully, as the muse of Sulwhasoo, I use a wide range of products from Sulwhasoo,” she shared. She commented that it has helped her to fight ageing skin.
