
5. “Are you sure it’s working?”
Some of your closer friends might actually start to doubt your weight loss efforts as time passes. It is possible they see you everyday and can’t see the minute changes. As long as you can track your progress and know you’re making headway, this should not shake you one bit.
What you can say: Be confident that you’re on the right track, and say so: “You can’t see it, but I’ve been tracking my progress and I’ve actually lost X kg/inches.” That should give you something to smile about.
