Daily Vanity Logo

The death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man who died after being arrested by police in Minneapolis (in the USA) cast attention on the Black Lives Matter movement, which protests against violence inflicted on Black communities and celebrates inclusivity.

These anti-racist sentiments are shared by people not just in the USA but all around the world, including in Singapore.

With that spirit in mind, we’d like to put the spotlight on our minority communities in Singapore and celebrate talented beauty professionals from these groups.

Whether you’re looking for a beauty service provider who is also a minority who truly understands your concerns or want to show support to these beauty service providers who are especially affected during the pandemic, this list of beauty salons and home-based professionals may get you started on your search.

Editor’s note: We know that there are many other outstanding businesses and talented freelancers out there but this gives our readers a taste of what is in the market and highlights a handful of talented professionals. It does not in any way mean that those who aren’t in the list aren’t providing great service.
