If you can’t resist Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream, then perhaps you won’t be able to resist lip balms made by Ben & Jerry’s that are inspired by their existing ice-cream flavours.
Ben & Jerry’s is known for creating ice-cream from natural ingredients, so it’s probably not surprising that their lip balms are too. Made with organically-derived oils, these lip balms are made to hydrate lips, while giving you a taste of yummy-ness when you lick your lips. The natural ingredients include extra virgin olive oil, palm oil, hemp seed, and jojoba.
But what we are absolutely loving about them is the fact that they look like mini tubs of Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream, and that’s oh-so-adorable!
You must be wondering about the flavours by now. They include: Mint Chocolate Cookie, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough,Chocolate Fudge Brownie, and Strawberry Kiwi Sorbet – chocolate-lovers are going to be so pleased!
According to PopSugar, here are how each of these flavours are like:
Ben & Jerry’s Mint Chocolate Cookie Lip Balm: This features the cooling sensation and taste of peppermint (essential oil) and has the subtle scent of sweetness and “biscuit”. There isn’t obvious chocolate aroma, though.
Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Lip Balm: It reminds the reviewer of real cookie dough because of the salty quality in the smell. It may seem a little weird at first, but it’ll grow on you.
Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie Lip Balm: The chocolate scent is mild but the addition of stevia makes the flavour delicious.
Ben & Jerry’s Strawberry Kiwi Swirl Sorbet Lip Balm: The reviewer finds this the most delicious and realistic. She also commented that the product featured lemon essential oil, which gives the scent a tartness that’s mouthwatering.
Unfortunately, as far as we know, these lip balms are not available in Singapore, and are available at limited locations in the USA at USD4.
