Chanel has taken over the outdoor plaza at the entrance of ION Orchard and set up the Chanel Holiday Cosmos-sphere illuminated installation. Standing at 18 metres tall, it sets the record as the “loftiest Chanel installation in the world”, according to the brand.
Besides celebrating the festive season, this installation is also to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the iconic Chanel No. 5 fragrance.
The dazzling installation features swirling helixes of stars and emblematic Chanel iconography (e.g. the number 5) to offer a visually stunning experience for visitors. Step inside the installation to catch an intergalactic light show, while taking a whiff of the scent of the Chanel No. 5 L’eau perfume that’s in the air. A light animation will also happen daily on the hour from 8pm to 10pm.
Look out for QR codes that are placed at the wall (look to your right!) near the exit of the installation to register for free Chanel badges that are made for this campaign. Note that each person is entitled to two badges and collection has to be done before 9pm and no purchases are needed. You’ll receive a text after registration and you can make the collection immediately.
The Chanel Holiday Cosmos-sphere installation is open daily from 10am to 10pm, from now till 2 January 2022. Admission is free.
