moisturisers-under-$50-featured

No matter how oily your skin is, or how humid the weather in Singapore can be, it’s still important to moisturise the skin. You can find out more facts and benefits of moisturisers in our article 7 things we bet you didn’t know about moisturisers. While it’s important to invest in skincare, it doesn’t mean that you have to break the bank! Here are five moisturisers under SGD50 that might work well for your skin and definitely for your pocket.

1 . Bioderma Hydrabio Perfecteur SPF 30 PA +++ (SGD49.90)

Bioderma will be launching a new and improved version of their current Hydrabio line. In particular, they will be introducing three new moisturisers that are formulated with the new emulsion base technology which helps the product to seep deeper into the skin. Here are two of them.

For sensitive and dehydrated skin

With this moisturiser you don’t have to go the extra step of putting on sunscreen because it already has sufficient sun protection in it! If you wear makeup on an everyday basis, this product also acts as a makeup base as the formula has a blurring effect, which helps to cover micro-wrinkles and imperfections.

2. Bioderma Hydrabio Gel-Créme (SGD41.90)

For normal to combination sensitive skin

As suggested by its name, this moisturiser has a gel-like consistency, making it more lightweight than the Hydrabio Perfecteur SPF 30 PA+++. This would work better for those who have oily skin, or for those who prefer a more lightweight formula.

The great thing about these two products is that they come in a pump tube form, which is not only hygienic but also easy to take along in your gym bag, or for travel.

The new Bioderma Hyrabio range will be available at Watsons, Guardian, Unity, Robinsons and John Little from April 2016.

3. Etude House Moistfull Collagen Moisturiser (SGD32.90)

For anti-ageing

As we all know, collagen is what gives our skin its bounce and elasticity. It’s been scientifically proven that collagen as a molecule is too big to penetrate into the skin, this product claims that it has “very fine” collagen molecules that can do so. Our editor has reviewed this moisturiser and from her experience, she noticed that her skin looked more hydrated after using it for just three days! You can read her full review here.

You can get the Etude House Moistfull Collagen Moisturiser at all Etude House stores here.

4. Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturiser (SGD18 – SGD20)
