This is obviously not the first time Hello Kitty has worked with a beauty brand, but it’s definitely one of the collaborations we are really excited about.
ColourPop has collaborated with Sanrio for a special winter-themed collection and it will be launched on the ColourPop website on 4 December.
This is not the first collaboration between the two cult-favourite brands. ColourPop has previously collaborated with Sanrio for a Hello Kitty collection in 2016 and the collection was an instant sell out, so it is probably no surprise they’re partnering up again.
And while the collection has fewer products compared to its 2016 collaboration, we dare say that the ColourPop x Hello Kitty 2020 collection is better. Read on to see what’s in the collection and you’ll know what we mean.
What’s in the ColourPop x Hello Kitty makeup collection 2020?
The ColourPop x Hello Kitty collection consists of five products.
ColourPop x Hello Kitty and Friends Snow Much Fun Eyeshadow Palette
This is definitely the highlight of the collection. Featuring a cute casing on which Hello Kitty and her friends were illustrated as snowmen, the square palette houses nine gorgeous Christmas-inspired shades with fun names such as Brr Baby, Winterful, and Cuddle Weather.
From the swatches we’ve seen, the colours look wearable and saturated, and with many glittery eyeshadow shades that you can use to create a glitzy festive look.
ColourPop x Hello Kitty and Friends Snow Cute Glitter Gel Mini Kit
This kit consists of four new mini Gliterally Obsessed Glitter Gels in beautiful colours including pastel and bold shades.
These gels can be used as lip glosses, eyeshadows, and highlighters and will add a fun edge to your wintry look. We love that they come in mini pots, which are great for glitter commitment-phobes.
ColourPop x Hello Kitty and Friends Big Surprise LUX Gloss
The LUX glosses get a makeover and is dressed in cute snowflake motifs and the Hello Kitty logo, complete with matching pastel pink caps.

ColourPop x Hello Kitty and Friends Snow Kissed Lip Care Kit
Pamper your lips and get them mistletoe-ready with this lip kit that consists of the Peppermint Cookie Lippie Scrub and Lip Mask.
This duo will keep your lips soft, smooth, and moisturised. The festive flavour they come in will certainly make your kissable lips even sweeter.
ColourPop x Hello Kitty and Friends Pressed Powder Blushes
Complete your winter-inspired look with blushes from the collection. The collection includes pressed powder blushes embossed with Hello Kitty images and they’re housed within mirrored compacts. It is available in two shades.
The super cute ColourPop x Hello Kitty holiday collection will be available on Colourpop’s website on 4 December at 10am PST, and Ulta’s website on 6 December. Due to licensing restrictions, they will not be able to ship to all countries, and unfortunately Singapore is one of the restricted ones.
