Gucci Beauty has revealed a brand new product to join their makeup range, and it’s one that took us by surprise.
Dubbed Cushion de Beaute, the brand’s first-ever cushion foundation is housed in a gorgeous pastel pink compact and debuts in six shades. You’ll notice a distinctive Gucci design that adorns the top of the round case, where a lion illustration is surrounded by a wreath of flowers. This will make the perfect gift for all Leos out there.
The cushion opens up to reveal a mirror and soft cushion applicator. Of course, like most cushion compacts, the foundation itself is refillable, allowing you to reuse the same compact. After all, it’s a beauty relic we’d want to cherish.

Pretty packaging aside, the cushion foundation’s formula is equally, if not more impressive. The foundation shields your skin from the sun, pollution, and blue light, fusing skincare benefits with makeup.
There are anti-pollution and anti-blue light ingredients in the mix, including Lipochroman, butterfly bush extracts, and titanium dioxide, along with mineral SPF 22 filters that reduce the risk of sun damage.

Lightweight and moisturising, the foundation blends seamlessly into the skin for buildable coverage too. High reflection index oils and mineral powders reflect light on your skin to provide a luminous, dewy finish.
What’s more, it contains a moisturising complex that features glycol and glycerin, which boost your skin’s moisture levels for up to 24 hours. Black Rose Oil, one of the luxury makeup brand’s key ingredients, offers antioxidant protection.
Gucci Beauty Cushion De Beauté retails for S$102 ($72 for the refill) and is now available at Gucci Beauty counters at Takashimaya, TANGS, BHG, and Metro, as well as online at their respective e-stores, and from 16 Sep 2021 at Sephora stores and Sephora.sg.
