Is your hair older than your actual age?
When I arrived at the TrichoKare branch, I was ushered into a private consultation room where a specialist asked me some questions about various hair concerns that I might have.

How old was my hair? It was revealed that my hair was 32 years old – a good 3 years older than I really am!
They also did a close-up scan of my scalp, where the specialist was able to point out the problem areas that was causing my hair problems: I have a greasy scalp, so oil was clogging up some hair follicles which impedes hair growth. This results in an excessive hair loss, hair thinning and brittle hair strands, which is the reason why my hair has aged faster than it should.
Furthermore, clogged follicles may also develop into active acne spots, which looked very alarming on the close-up scan!

How was my experience at TrichoKare like?
I was, of course, familiar that TrichoKare had been patronised before by celebrities like Xiaxue, Jaynesh and Anand, so I was very curious to find out what their treatments are like. I’ve also never gone for a hair treatment done by a trichological centre before.
As the main problem with my scalp was that it was excessively greasy, my hair treatment was geared towards cleansing the follicles clogged with excess sebum, detoxification of the scalp and increasing my hair density.
The OxyJet treatment itself was paired with a cooling ampoule that was selected specially for my greasy scalp problem. Combined, they had a soothing but stimulating sensation on the scalp, almost like a targeted massage on various spots on my scalp.
