We may think of the smell of heady florals as “dated” but while the new Blue Skies & Blossoms collection by Jo Malone is primarily a floral collection, it is anything but. This limited edition collection is designed to be playful, carefree, and is inspired by Spring.
The Blue Skies & Blossoms collection consists of three colognes: Sakura Cherry Blossom, a delicate floral scent, blended with notes of rose and sparkling bergamot, Osmanthus Blossom, an exotic scent with with succulent peach note, layered with luminous petigrain, and Plum Blossom, a juicy plum fragrance.
Jo Malone fans who love the English Pear & Freesia and Wild Bluebell (it’s this editor’s personal favourite) will be pleased to know that the perfumer behind these two bestsellers, Christine Nagel, is one of the perfumers who worked on this collection. Together with Fabrice Pellegrin and Marie Salagmagne, they created this collection with the intention of presenting a series of colognes that are very wearable and cheery.
The Blue Skies & Blossoms collection will be available from May 2015 at all Jo Malone boutiques (Takashimaya, Tangs Orchard and Marina Bay Sands), and each cologne (100ml) retails at SGD210.
