Did you know that Kiehl’s has been around since 1851, originating as an old-world pharmacy in New York City?

Over its 170 years of service, the brand has stayed true to its original mission of prioritising customer experience and utilising advanced technologies and efficacious ingredients to improve skin’s health.

To celebrate Kiehl’s momentous 170th anniversary this year, the well-loved brand has launched a limited edition Commemorative Collection.

kiehl's-commemorative-collection

This is a specially curated line of Kiehl’s most beloved formulas: Midnight Recovery Concentrate (S$105), Ultra Facial Cream (S$54), Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner (S$59), and Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado (S$55). We’re sure you’ve heard of them or have even used them before.

We’re absolutely awed by the stunning white-and-gold vintage-style glass packaging that this special collection comes in. Every true-blue Kiehl’s fan should certainly get their hands on them!

The one that we’ve been seeing fans going crazy over is the Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner, which we agree will look good on our vanity and Instagram feed.

Besides the Commemorative Collection, Kiehl’s will also be releasing a limited edition Heritage Collection.

For the first time, the brand dives into its archive and brought back historical products from the past, paying homage to beauty trends that revolutionised the beauty industry in previous eras.

Taking inspiration from the original products, Kiehl’s reimagined them for the modern-day skincare user.

The products in the Heritage Collection includes:

Essence Oils in Love-Luring, Fortune Seeking, and Jinx-Removing (S$38 each): More than 120 essence oils were stocked in the original Kiehl’s pharmacy in 1921, and were used as personal perfumes until the early 2000’s. Love-Luring is a floral scent dubbed as a modern-day “love potion” to enhance attraction, Fortune-Seeking is a light, fresh scent for those looking for a bit of luck, and Jinx-Removing is a warm and sensual scent made for those looking for new beginnings.

kiehls-heritage-rosewater-toner

Heritage French Rose Toner (S$68): Inspired by Kiehl’s collection of Rosewater Toners from the 1960s, this reimagined product refreshes and softens skin and is infused with imported Rosewater and sustainably sourced whole Turkish Rose Petals. This is another product that everyone seems to want to get their hands on – so better grab it once it hits the stores!

The limited edition Commemorative Collection and Heritage Collection will be available on 26 April at Kiehl’s official e-boutique and officially launched at all Kiehl’s boutiques from 1 May.
