This is why we’re especially thrilled when French beauty brand L’OCCITANE installed a Refill Fountain in their ION Orchard store!
L’OCCITANE Refill Fountain
A zero-plastic alternative, the Refill Fountain lets you enjoy your favourite L’OCCITANE shower products, sans new plastic bottles. We think that’s pretty neat.
The brand is kicking off with a selection of five shower products, but keep your eyes peeled – because more products will be added to their lineup in the future too.

You can bring your own L’OCCITANE bottle (which will be inspected for suitability by the store’s Beauty Advisors) or purchase an aluminium forever bottle at the store.
Since L’OCCITANE’s forever bottle is made of aluminium, it is significantly stronger and will last a much longer time sitting in the shower. The forever bottle is also recyclable, which makes them an eco-friendly option.
The brand’s plastic bottles, on the other hand, are made with recycled plastic. They are recommended to be refilled up to three times before you’ll have to recycle them.
This is why the brand suggests investing in a forever bottle once to ensure you’re getting the best strength, safety, and quality of the bottle as well as the product in it, which will help you use less plastic in the long run.
