If black lipstick or blue lipstick is in your makeup bucket list, you’ll be happy to know that Make Up For Ever has launched a collection of 46 shades in its Artist Rouge collection. But even if black and blue lipsticks are not up your alley, the wide range of colours this new collection offer is definitely every makeup enthusiast’s dream – there is every shade of nude, pink, coral and red you can think of in the collection.
With the Triple-Grinding Technology, the colour pigments are ground three times, which means that they become micro-fine. This helps to accentuate the intensity of light reflection and heighten the radiance of the colours.
But if you’re worried that bold pigments are going to be drying on the lips, don’t. The lipsticks are blended with mallow oil and macadamia oil to make sure there’s comfortable wear all day. You’ll also probably like that they are formulated with a novel complex of waxes that trap pigments as volatile oils evaporate, making it long-lasting. The Artist Rouge Cream promises an 8-hour wear, while the Artist Rouge Matte promises a 10-hour wear.
The lipsticks in the Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge collection retails at SGD35 each. They are available at the Make Up For Ever Academy and Pro-Loft (36 Armenian Street #01-06 and #02-06) and at all Sephora stores.
