While protective face coverings are still compulsory, that hasn’t stopped most of us from wearing makeup under our masks.
In fact, the Daily Vanity team has been celebrating new makeup launches like the Teddy Bare collection by Too Faced and Byredo’s limited-edition Prismic Eyeshadow Palette.
The next makeup release that caught our attention? It’s got to be Marc Jacobs Beauty and its upcoming Spring 2021 collection, named Café Marc Jacobs.
As you can probably tell from the name, it’s a makeup collection inspired by coffee. When we first spotted the brew-tiful visuals of the range on Trendmood, we knew we had to share the announcement news with all of you.
And after checking with our fa-brew-lous friends at Marc Jacobs Beauty Singapore, we can confirm that the Café Marc Jacobs collection will be introduced in Singapore – yay! (Keep reading until the end to get more details on the availability of the range.)
To start, we have the Marc Jacobs Beauty Extra Shot Caffeine Concealer and Foundation (S$58). As its name suggests, it’s a caffeine-infused two-in-one formula designed to conceal any imperfections and perfect fatigued skin with buildable coverage.
While the texture may lean on the creamy side, the long-wearing, crease-resistant formula is said to provide a full yet natural-looking finish to instantly conceal dark circles, blemishes, and redness, so that you look like you woke up with a flawless, radiant complexion.
In addition to caffeine, the concealer-slash-foundation is also enriched with oat extract and not one, but five forms of coconut to make a hydrating vegan formula that blends seamlessly to help skin look brighter and re-energized.
Together with the Extra Shot in the collection is the Marc Jacobs Beauty O!mega x Three Powder Blush-Bronze-Highlight Palette (S$69). Inspired by swirls of cream and coffee this year, the popular bronzer palette comes in two different shades this time around, namely Tan-tastic! and Tantalize, and is designed to give you a seamless, all-in-one glow.
Start by adding a pop of colour to your cheeks with a satin blush, and then finish off by contouring and highlighting to accent your best features.
What’s more, this limited-edition trio palette is also coconut-scented to perk up your senses while the rich pigment blends effortlessly to perk up your skin. Coconut and coffee? It’s a coconut latte delight!
To round up the Cafe Marc Jacobs collection, we have three new colours of the crowd-favourite Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Matte Gel Eye Crayon (S$39).
The best-selling eyeliner – one is said to be sold every minute globally on average – now comes in Blacquer Coffee, Blacquer Emerald, and Blacquer Currant, inspired by the all-time favourite shade, Blacquer.
Like all other Highliners, you can expect intense pigment payoff from these deep matte shades to jazz up your eyes. Although they are matte in formula, these richly pigmented eyeliners won’t look flat on your peepers.
So this spring, set all the sakura pink shades aside and boost your morning routine with all the silky, rich hues from Café Marc Jacobs instead. For makeup inspiration, here are a couple of tutorial videos that you can refer to when you get your hands on the collection.
The entire Marc Jacobs Beauty Spring 2021 collection, including all 30 shades of the Extra Shot Caffeine Concealer and Foundation, will be available exclusively online at Sephora.sg beginning 20 April, so be sure to save the date in your calendar!
