14 reformulated and brand-new products on the shelves this month – some even have quirky ingredients like coconuts!

It’s the start of a brand new month very soon and while you’re stocking up on tried-and-tested products, we have curated a list of reformulated as well as brand-new products that have just hit the shelves to keep an eye out for. What’s intriguing is that some of these products contain ingredients that you’d associate more with your smoothie bowl than in your everyday makeup routine, so read on to find out what they are!

1. Marc Jacobs Under(Cover) Blurring Coconut Face Primer

Coconut water is pretty much an essential item in our pantries due to the sweltering heat of the Singapore sun, but have you ever wondered what it can do for your face? Thanks to Marc Jacobs’ Under(Cover) Blurring Coconut Face Primer, we can now know for sure! This new primer contains five forms of the coconut, which helps to blur imperfections, smooth out pores and fine lines, as well as control oil-production, creating a smooth base for your foundation to go on perfectly. On days where you’re a little lazy to put on a full face of makeup, this primer can also be worn on its own to enhance your natural complexion.

3. Supergoop! Zincscreen 100% Mineral Lotion

Besides being a superfood that is super good for the body, the blueberry, used alongside winter cherry and coconut in the Zincscreen 100% Mineral Lotion, helps to protect the skin from free radical damage – a consequence of exposure to infrared radiation. This SPF40 sunscreen contains pink mineral pigments that result in a blendable, subtle pink tint with brightening effects. 5. Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Intense Reset Concentrate

When used at night as the last step of your skincare regimen, the Advanced Night Repair Intense Reset Concentrate by Estée Lauder delivers a dose of hydration that’s perfect for skin skin that is irritated, dull, or dehydrated. It is able to do so through the use of a blend of stabilised salicylic acid and resveratrol, hyaluronic acid, as well as antioxidants that boost the health of your skin. The concentrate also has a calming scent with notes of chamomile, lavender, and hedione (smells like jasmine!), making it the perfect aromatherapeutic companion for us at bedtime.

7. Caudalie Limited Edition Beauty Elixir

Working in air-conditioned environments can really dry out our skin, so face mists like the Beauty Elixir are an essential beauty product to keep on our desks. This foundation is formulated to give a luminous finish while still balanced with a matteness that is perfect for wear in the humidity of the Singapore weather. Enclosed in a glossy and sophisticated compact, the All Hours Cushion Foundation is available in five shades, designed to blend seamlessly into our Asian skin tones.

YSL Beauté All Hours Cushion Foundation retails at SGD92, while the refill retails at SGD48. It is available at all YSL Beauté stores from 8 August 2019.

9. Benefit BADgal Bang! 24 Hour Eye Pencil

14. Rough Beauty Bar Soaps

Local clean beauty brand Rough Beauty has launched two seasonal bar soaps: Saffy Fields and Coal Bar.

Saffy Fields is made with green bean powder to deliver exfoliating benefits and is blended with safflower and rice bran oil to keep skin moisturised. You’ll love that it has lavender and peppermint scent notes that are rejuvenating.

Coal Bar, on the other hand, is formulated for those with oilier skin. Tapping into the ability of bamboo charcoal in drawing out pollutants and toxins, this soap bar cleanses skin deeply.
