You probably know someone who’ll stock up on Paul & Joe’s makeup products whenever they travel to Japan – or maybe you are that person we’re talking about!
We have good news for fans because you can now get your hands on this well-loved Japanese brand in Singapore. The Paul & Joe Beaute pop up store opens from now till the end of September, at Isetan Scotts Level 1.
What you can get there are the best sellers – the ever-popular foundation primer, the gel foundation, blushes and lip products.
If you’ve not tried out the brand, we’d tell you, it’s all about the ‘no-makeup makeup’ look. The foundations, powder and even lip products all help create that lightweight, natural look that Asian women tend to prefer.
If you don’t know where to start, check out their best-selling Foundation Primer, the one item that has raved reviews online and that many people swear by. The watery, lightweight formula gives a natural and illuminated skin. The shade range is limited though, but they do come in two variants: moisturising (for hydration), and protecting (thicker finish with SPF). The Moisturising Foundation Primer S (SGD63), comes in three shades and gives a healthy glowing finish with radiance, while the Protecting Foundation Primer S (SGD63), comes in two shades, keeps the skin fresh and healthy with SPF 42 PA+++ protection.
Top it off with the Gel Foundation (SGD55), a soft gel-like compact foundation recommended for combination to oily skin. Formulated with 80% water, the Jelly patented foundation envelopes the skin with a “water-like-viel” for moisturising and natural-looking finish. This is a great base product for Singapore’s weather as it gives a cooling sensation when applied on the skin.
Fans will also be pleased to know that limited edition products featuring motifs of chrysanthemum will also be made available at this pop-up concept. We recommend that you check it out when you’re there.
When Paul & Joe released a limited-edition cat themed makeup in 2017, it melted every cat-lover’s heart. You can now get your hands on the Lip Treatment (SGD25) that comes with the iconic kitten at the tip. Purr-fect to just toss on some shine and moisture dry or chapped lips, or if you just want to own one of those cute lippie.
While it’s a pity that they didn’t manage to bring in the latest gel blush, which look absolutely gorgeous, we think the stocks at the pop-up is good enough to satisfy fans who have been wishing that the brand is back.
