In every neighbourhood lies surprising hidden, unique gems that even its own residents are oblivious to. Did you know Singapore has a quality spa that’s nestled within a garden?

How about indulging in a facial or body treatment in a salt therapy room? Or maybe go wild at a safari-themed spa? Here are 13 unique spas and off-the-beaten-path beauty spots you can head over for some extra special self-pampering!

1. Peachy Skin Bar

Unique Spas Singapore Peachy Skin Bar Interior

Where: 62A Queen Street, Bugis Street, Singapore 188541

Peach-coloured walls, plush velvet seats, gold accents, lush pink curtains – meet Peachy Skin Bar, Singapore’s first fully bespoke membership facial salon. Inspired by skin bars that have been taking cities like New York and Los Angeles by storm in recent years, Peachy Skin Bar is all about serving up accessible beauty with a dash of luxury.

Unlike typical beauty salons, you’ll find none of the conventional salon tactics (aggressive hard-selling, package up-selling, and hidden add-ons) that are downright energy-draining at Peachy Skin Bar. Instead, the salon offers flexible, commitment-free lifetime membership, with which you can enjoy à la carte facials at discounted prices with your family and friends – how thoughtful!

On top of that, all Peachy treatments come power-packed with mini-massages, so there’s really nothing else you can do besides unwinding and maybe catching some Z’s while the skilled, non-judgemental facialist pampers your skin. Once your skin is all fixed up, chill out at Peachy’s cosy lounge to enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbly!

We highly recommend trying the Omakase Facial, which saves you the hassle of picking a treatment that may or may not be compatible with your skin. Instead, leave the decision-making to Peachy’s facialist, who will tailor the treatment for your skin condition with a combination of custom-blended products, gentle extractions, and the best dermatology-grade aesthetic machine to solve your skin needs for the day.

For all those reasons and more, it’s probably not surprising that Peachy Skin Bar snagged the Best Bespoke Facial (Readers’ Favourite) award at the Daily Vanity Spa & Hair Awards 2020.
