With 2020 being the Year of the Rat (according to the lunar calendar system) it’s no wonder China-based cosmetic brand Little Ondine has collaborated with Tom & Jerry to release the endearing Say “Cheese” blush.
This trending product first surfaced earlier in June, rapidly picking up attention amongst beauty enthusiasts on video-sharing platform, Douyin – a.k.a. China’s version of TikTok. Check out its delightful appearance and creative packaging below!
The handy box comes with a plush velvety finish and opens up to a little triangle of blush, sporting holes resembling that on a good ol’ slice of Emmentaler. It comes with a tiny mirror on the back side of the flip-cover, making midday touch-ups a total breeze on-the-go.
There were many YouTubers who shared their reviews of the products. Watching them, we were amazed by the supple texture of this blush when they’re swatched. Falling somewhere between a cream blush and a pressed powder blush consistency, the powder was ultra fine and silky to the touch with a blendable formula that could work on all skin types.
Despite the single-colour that makes up this compact, we were pleasantly surprised to find the pigments way beyond one-dimensional in appearance. The blush did not fall flat in any way on the reviewers’ faces and gave a good pop of colour that looked fresh and natural on the skin.
