Can you actually have too many eyeshadow palettes?

We think not. Especially, if it’s a palette by Urban Decay (UD). Their Naked palettes are truly the stuff of beauty legends as demonstrated by the OG Naked palette which sold an outstanding 30 million units during its eight years on sale. It’s been six long months since UD’s last Naked palette release and fans have fervently been waiting for the next Naked palette launch. Well, UD’s heard our prayers and a sweet new product called the Naked Honey palette has been born.

Daily Vanity‘s got the glossy details on what you need to know about the sure-to-sellout newbie and how you can purchase it in Singapore real soon.

Urban Decay Naked Honey Palette: Shade range

In terms of shade range, this palette might be the closest to the (sadly discontinued) original Naked palette, with neutral colours that include classic golds, warm ambers and rich chocolate browns. The 12 buttery looking shades are golden-based, featuring shimmering metallics, warm ambers and rich browns that share the same high-quality formula as the existing Naked eyeshadows. That’s how you know each shade will be long-wearing and super-blendable.

Specifically, their names are — from left to right — Flyby, Sweet, Swarm, Amber, Keeper, Golden, Honey, Queen, Hive, Drip, HBIC, and Sting.

Oh and did we mention these shades are all completely new? No shadow repeats here, and that means we can’t possibly already own any of these shades. What’s more honey tones are quite universally flattering, which means most of us are going to be able to pull of these colours. Do we really need another reason to purchase this?

Urban Decay Naked Honey Palette: Channeling the retro glam style

Looks like the ’70s are coming back in style and Urban Decay has called it first. Naked Honey is perfect for creating the ultimate ’70s statement eye look with its staple golds and rich, earthy chocolates.

Level up on your everyday eyeshadow look with Naked Honey’s glowy go-to shade, Amber for some added pizzazz. Try Sting – a warm brown matte perfect for your crease or get hooked on Honey, the star colour with it’s intense gold metallic – Use this for a poppin’ golden eye look like UD’s ambassador Lizzo, who was the first to break the news about Naked Honey. Talk about a statement look.

Urban Decay Naked Honey Palette: Blendability is its middle name

A good eyeshadow brush can make or break an eyeshadow look, regardless of how blendable the shades are. That’s why this palette comes with a vegan and cruelty-free double-ended brush in classic UD style. One end is a smudging brush, which is short and densely packed for shadow application along the lower lash line or to blend out your smokey eye look with precision. The other end consists of a tapered crease brush for that perfectly defined crease. It’s this easy to achieve perfect daytime matte or sultry metallic looks!
