Compared to 10 years ago, many more Korean beauty brands have made their way to Singapore (and our hearts!), setting up boutiques and counters all over our little island. We are pretty sure you have products from brands like Laneige, Sulwhasoo, Etude House, and The Face Shop lying around in your house.

But the beauty enthusiasm in us make us “greedy” people. We may already have many options in Singapore for Korean brands, but there are many more that we love and would stock up on when we visit Korea. Hey, distributors, bring these five Korean brands in already! Click to the next page to see the first brand we think that needs to be here.

1. Eglips

If you follow famous YouTuber turned celebrity makeup artist Pony, you would definitely have heard of Eglips! It is one of the brands that Pony loves, and she swears by their Blur Powder Pact. This product has been featured in many of her makeup tutorials, and she even brought it with her when she came to Singapore! While the powder does not provide any coverage, it gives a Photoshop-like blurring effect that works wonders to the imperfections you wish to cover – no wonder it’s one of Pony’s holy grail products!

You can get it at: Qoo10

2. Banila Co

K-Pop fans might be familiar with Banila Co and its famous ambassador, former Girls’ Generation member, Jessica Jung. The two most raved about products from this brand are their It Radiant CC Cream and the Clean It Zero cleansing balm.

They are one of the first few brands to bring a CC Cream into their makeup line, and was introduced way before the start of the CC Cream hype. It lives up to its expectation as one of the pioneers of its kind with its lightweight yet potent formula. Their cleansing balm is also a star on its own with its effective and gentle cleansing prowess. In the video below (if you’re impatient, go to the 5:41 mark), you can see YouTuber Jen, who is known for her heavy eye makeup, removing her makeup with ease using the cleansing balm!

You can get it at: Lazada, Qoo10, and Changi Airport’s Duty Free Shopping (Arrival and Departure).

3. The Saem

Endorsed by popular Korean boyband Shinee, The Saem has recently made their way to Singapore, but only in Changi Airport’s arrival and departure hall, and only two of their skincare ranges – do you hear our hearts shattering? While we are only one airplane ticket away to getting our hands on this brand, it is available online. But seriously, we’d always love a physical store where we can actually test and swatch the products till our hearts’ content.

They are famous for their base makeup, mainly their concealers and foundation. Their concealers pack a punch for their awesome coverage that do not turn cakey, and foundations come in a variety of texture and coverage to suit all needs.

Get yours at: Lazada, Hermo, Qoo10, and Changi Airport’s Duty Free Shopping (Arrival and Departure).

4. Berrisom

Tattoo lip tints are one of the hottest beauty trends these days, and Berrisom’s Ooops My Lip Pack is one of the most coveted-after ones. All you got to do is to apply the product, wait for it to dry for five minutes and peel it off. What’s left would be an evenly-stained lip that would not budge for the next couple of hours (even after meals!).

Unfortunately, the brand is not available in Singapore, although you can find it in almost all of Southeast Asia, and even Russia. We hope, on behalf of all beauty junkies, that it comes to Singapore soon!

Get yours at: Lazada, Zalora, and Qoo10

5. Mamonde

Mamonde has been endorsed by Korean actress Park Shin Hye, and previously by Girls’ Generation’s Kwon Yuri. One of the products that Park endorsed is the Cover Powder Cushion, a cushion compact with matte finish. Check out Liah’s review in the above video (fast forward to the 2:55 mark).

Another highly raved about product from this brand is their Rose Water Toner, a gentle and hydrating toner with a slight dose of rose fragrance to perk up the skin.
