What’s great about this new lash trend is that it is way easier to put on than a full strip lash, so even those who are new to falsies can try this.

If your eyes usually get irritated from wearing false eyelashes, this new way will give your eyes a much-needed break.

How to cut your falsies in half

If you’re totally new to trimming your falsies, we’ll walk you through the process.

Begin by choosing a pair of false eyelashes. You don’t even need a new pair of falsies to do this if you don’t want to risk it.

However, one tip is to go for wispy-looking lashes rather than thicker and fuller ones – this ensures that it looks as natural as possible.

You’ll want to bring the eyelash up to your eye and measure it. Make sure it is half, going from the inner part of the lash.

Then, do a quick fold down to make sure you know where to snip, and then bring the scissors in and cut them in half from where you measured it.

You’ll want to keep the inner side of the eyelash and chuck away the outer. Then, all that is left is to repeat on the other eyelash and apply your new half lashes.

To get that lifted, cat-eye look, you’ve got to make sure that the front of the eyelash is stuck to your lash line. And there you have, a more natural-looking lash look that won’t weigh your eyelids down.
