Traditionally, makeup products that come in stick forms are limited to that of eyebrow pencils, lipsticks, or cream concealers. They are extremely convenient, clean (goodbye spillage and leakages!) and handy (pop them into a skinny pouch and you’re good to go!). Hence, it doesn’t come with much surprise that many brands have hopped onto this stick makeup bandwagon in recent years.

We’ve seen more brands venturing into stick makeup products this year, while others have dedicated whole collections centred around them. We’re even introducing to you one brand that only produces makeup products in sticks!

Etude House’s Play 101 Stick Collection

This is Etude House’s newly-launched collection that features a whole series of stick products that can be used for the eyes, cheeks, and lips. The range was purposely kept small and multi-functional so you get the most mileage out of these products.

Our favourite product in the series has to be the colour sticks, which can be used on the lips, cheeks or even eyelids according to how creative you are.

Benefit Cosmetics

Benefit didn’t launch a specific collection of stick makeup per se, but they do have a considerable range. We’ve put together some of our favourites in helping us achieve a flawless, three-dimensional look at great convenience and speed.

NudeStix is probably the coolest in this list; they have everything in stick form – hence the name! (Are tubes and tubs still an option?) Apart from the usual eye shadows, lip colours and concealers, we like how NudeStix’s products targets the needs for specific areas, such as the clean-up pencil and moisture skin pencil.
