We are currently obsessed with this eye makeup, created by Chanel makeup artist Peter Philips, for the Chanel Spring 2014 runway.

“For this show, we wanted to create a beautiful, natural look that focused on just one element of makeup to really make it stand out. So it’s all about the eyes,” Philips says. “It was so much fun playing with glitter and making a look that truly stands out against an amazing décor, yet remains in tune with the mood of the collection.”

How did Philips do it? This goddess-like makeup is created by painting a thick, classic black cat eye across models’ top lids, followed by an equally broad streak of sequins under the bottom.

The products he used: Chanel’s Ligne Graphique Eyeliner in Noir, Le Crayon Khol Intense Eye Pencil in Claire and Le Volume de Chanel Mascara in Noir.

While this look isn’t that wearable for an everyday look (great for party, though, we think!), consider swapping up the thick streak of glitter with a glitter eyeliner that outlines your lower lashline or waterline. This should also give you that fairy-like look that’s still work-appropriate.
