A popular travel destination for weekend getaways, Bangkok is a familiar name to most Singaporeans. The Thai capital is nothing short of a shopping haven – it offers some of the best deals in the region, appealing to the inner deal-hunter (or as we know it, the auntie) inside us all.
Not sure where you should go hunting for deals on beauty products and services in Bangkok? That’s okay, because we’ve done some extensive research to provide you with all the information about where you should go to get your beauty shopping fix.
Where to buy beauty products
Now, we know what you’re thinking – don’t we have Watsons here in Singapore too? They’re literally in every mall!
While that may be true, Bangkok’s Watsons stores actually sell many beauty products at prices 10-20% lower than what you can find in Singapore. Furthermore, they’re always having sales, making the prices fall even lower.
You’ll find branches of Watsons at many of the popular shopping destinations in Bangkok, including Mahboonkrong (MBK) Mall, Central Ladprao , Big C at Rama II, Major Ratchayothin, Future Park, Siam Square, and Union Mall.
2. Beauty Buffet
Beauty Buffet is a store that most beauty bloggers won’t miss during their Bangkok trip. With the slogan “The Most Delicious Beauty Shop in Town”, it carries brands like Gino McCray, Scentio, Lansley, The Bakery, as well as Anne & Florio, and at affordable prices too!
With so many options available, what should you check out when you’re there? Some of the most popular items include Gino McCray eyeshadows and Anne & Florio’s polishes.

3. Siam Botanicals
It doesn’t really get more natural than Siam Botanicals, which was set up when the owners realised they couldn’t find any 100% natural beauty products in Bangkok and, therefore, created their own. Their range of products includes facial products, scrubs, massage oils, bath salts, soaps, and shampoos.
DV Recommends: Siam Botanical’s anti-ageing skin conditioner with rose geranium and ylang ylang, which helps improve elasticity and balances the production of sebum — it also smells amazing and leaves your skin super soft.
You can find Siam Botanicals outlets at these locations.

Best places for massages and spas
1. Harnn Heritage Spa
Harnn uses wisdom from traditional Asian medicine and naturopathy, combining it with its own natural, wonderfully fragranced products, in their treatments. The objective of the brand is to preserve Thailand’s rich heritage of ancient massage techniques and showcase the region’s natural, active ingredients.
It may not be the cheapest treatment options available in Bangkok, but it can certainly give you a luxurious, traditional Thai experience. For the ultimate pampering session, go for the Sukhothai Passage (THB 4,800 for 160 minutes, THB 5,200 for 180 minutes). This treatment consists of a 20-minute herbal tea bath, 30-minute body scrub, 30-minute foot massage, 60-minute Thai aromatic massage, and 40-minute facial. Note that the herbal tea bath is only available at its Central World outlet.
2. Asia Herb Association
Asia Herb Association owns their own farm, where organic herbs are grown and then harvested and used in the treatments that they provide. These herbs are certified organic by Thai and American authorities, and are nurtured with healthy soil and pure spring water from the Khao Yai mountain ranges.
Hugely popular with the Japanese expatriate community in Bangkok because of the high level of service they provide, Asia Herb Association will also surprise you with a complete spa experience without the exorbitant price tag that you would usually associate with a luxury spa – its 60-minute Thai massage is available at just THB 500.
Asia Herb Association can be found at several locations in Bangkok.
3. Health Land Spa
Health Land Spa owns a chain of spas that are popular, especially among Singaporeans. Each of their outlets are standalone bungalow-like buildings, which means they’re extremely spacious with rooms of different sizes to accommodate different group sizes.
You’ll love its beautiful interior design and how clean the place is, but most importantly, prices are surprisingly but pleasantly reasonable – a 2-hour traditional Thai massage is only THB 500. It is no wonder that Health Land Spa outlets are typically packed with customers everyday, and reservations are most definitely required.
Health Land Spa has outlets at several locations in Bangkok.
4. Let’s Relax Spa
Another popular massage chain is Let’s Relax Spa. It is a huge space with both body massage and foot reflexology rooms, but just a tad more expensive – Thai massage (THB 500/hr), and foot reflexology (THB 400/45 mins) – than those regular ones by the street would charge.
Appointments are strongly recommended. And if you are looking at a 2-hour session, your treatment will end with a serving of mango sticky rice!
Let’s Relax Spa outlets can be found at several locations in Bangkok.
5. Number One
After a long day of shopping at Platinum Fashion Mall and Pratunam Market, simply cross the road and head over to Number One to relieve those sore muscles of yours. And yes, it is one of those “cheap but good” massage places with treatments that range from THB 250 to THB 400 per hour.
