Frizz happens when the hair cuticle is raised, excessive moisture enters, and the hair shaft swells. Heat and humidity meet damaged or curly hair, and you’ll start seeing stray strands rise up all around your mane as if it was full of static.

Well, Daily Vanity’s readers have found the cure for frustrating frizz, and it comes in a slim bottle that’s so easy to bring anywhere – easily in reach if you’re having a bad hair day: it’s the Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil.

Not just any hair oil, the Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil is a unique blend of avocado oil and the popular skincare ingredient ceramide.

Does the added skincare ingredient work to tame stubbornly frizzy strands, smooth, and add shine? Hear it from the five readers who tried the Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil on their hair for a week!

About Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil

Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil, made with skin-friendly ingredient, ceramide, creates a seal around the hair shaft to keep the hair cuticle closed. By locking in moisture and, at the same time, preventing excessive moisture from entering the strand, the treatment oil keeps the hair hydrated – without causing the hair to swell and frizz from humidity.

In skincare, ceramides support the skin barrier, which helps to lock in the skin’s moisture and protect it from environmental damage.

Similarly, when applied to the strands, ceramides also form a “barrier” around the hair, thus, turning down the frizz and making the mane look shinier, smoother – and stronger too.

Essentially, ceramides in the Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil are like skincare for the hair. It’s why the Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil doubles up as a hair treatment – not just a hair oil – too.

The oil part of the formula is just as important, however. Besides ceramides, the Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil contains nourishing avocado oil to powerfully repair and strengthen damaged strands.

Avocado is a superfruit – we already know this. Packed with vitamins, antioxidants, and lipids, avocado oil gives the hair what it needs, moisturises, and protects hair from sun damage.

Avocado oil also penetrates deeper into the hair shaft rather than sit as a coating over the strand, which allows it to hydrate hair from within. Touch your hair, and you’ll find that it’s non-greasy and non-sticky too, as the oil seeps right into the strands for a lightweight finish.

The combination of hair-coating ceramides and hair-penetrating avocado oil makes the Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil a versatile hair oil that can be used on towel-dried hair before a blow-dry – to lock in sufficient moisture and prevent heat damage, or on dry hair for extra shine and smoothness.

We’ve used the Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil ourselves and we feel pleasantly lightheaded every time we whiff its light, refreshing fragrance and feel how lightweight the oil is on our hair.

Five DV readers have tried the hair oil and four of them agree about its lightweight, silky texture. Here’s what else they have to say about the Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil and whether it’s worth pumping onto your strands for a super-shine boost!

Hair concerns: Frizzy, colour-damaged hair

bee choo origin ceramide hair treatment oil review

My hair is smoother, softer, and less dry after one week. The Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil made my hair feel the healthiest compared to all other hair oils I’ve used before.

I applied the hair oil on my towel-dried hair after a shower and my hair didn’t feel as dry as it usually does after a blow-dry. It added shine to my hair and made my hair more manageable.

I also applied the hair oil in the morning after a night of rest. I was surprised that, despite the oil looking a little heavy in texture, it was quickly absorbed by my hair. It added shine to my hair without weighing my hair down.

I like that the Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil is easily absorbed by my hair. Despite it being moisturising, it doesn’t weigh my hair down as compared to all other hair oil products that I have used.

When I leave it in my hair overnight, my hair does not feel oily or tacky when I wake up in the morning!

Hair concerns: Frizzy, unruly, dry and brittle hair

The next morning after a hair wash is the worst for me as my hair looks so dry and the hairs stick out everywhere. I was using another hair oil but it wasn’t nourishing and my hair still looked frizzy after applying it.

However, Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil immediately tamed my hair, giving it a healthy shine and allowing me to style my hair easier. I love using this hair oil on my damaged hair before I leave the house.

My hair also usually looks even more frizzy after a blow-dry but the Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil helped to restore my hair’s shine and made it look healthier without looking oily. My hair did not feel heavy after using the oil.

The hair treatment oil comes in a slim bottle, has a mild fragrance, and it does not make my hair feel oily or sticky after application. I tried it on damp and dry hair and, while I may not have seen obvious results on damp hair, this oil helped to manage the frizziness of my dry hair.

After one week, my hair looks much healthier and less dull. My hair is smoother and my frizzy hair is more manageable after using this hair oil. I can use it on my dry hair with no fear of my hair looking oily.

Hair concerns: Frizzy, colour-damaged, heat-damaged, and dry hair; split ends

What sets the Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil apart from others is its texture, which is non-oily and non-sticky. I don’t have to wash my hands with soap after application which is a bonus. It gets the job done by smoothing my frizzy hair.

I loved the packaging. The size of the bottle was perfect for my trip to Florence. The texture of the oil was not sticky and surprisingly not oily.

I love the subtle, refreshing fragrance of the hair oil, which smells better than all others I’ve used before. The fragrance of this hair oil is one of my favourite hair oil scents.

I used the hair oil on my damp hair before blow-drying and it made my hair less frizzy. My hair feels healthier and looks shinier than it usually is after a blow-dry, and this hair oil is better than others at protecting my hair from heat damage.

I also split my hair into two sections and used two to three pumps on each side every time I went out. The Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil held my curls better and my hair was more manageable and less frizzy.
The hair oil makes it much easier to tame my unruly hair.

After one week, my hair looks shinier, smoother, and feels softer. This is my favourite hair oil I’ve used so far. Overall, I’m very happy with the hair oil as it works very well on my hair and I can use it on the go.

Hair concerns: Frizzy, colour-damaged, heat-damaged hair

Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil is lightweight yet delivers good results.

As I have an oily scalp and dry hair, it’s hard to find a suitable product that nourishes my hair without making my scalp feel excessively oily. My previous hair oil felt a little heavy on my scalp and did not spread as evenly on my hair as compared to the Bee Choo Origin hair oil.

After applying one pump of Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil to my damp hair and blow-drying it, I realised that my hair had an added shine to it. It also felt and looked smoother, with much fewer stray hairs at my fringe.

My hair wasn’t as frizzy and dry as it usually is after a blow-dry. At the same time, the hair oil did not weigh heavily on my hair or make my hair feel greasy.

My hair also usually looks frizzy and dull at the start of the day but after applying the oil, my hair has a nice shine. It is easier to comb my hair as well.

The packaging is portable and light, and I love how compact it is to fit into my toiletries bag. It is not overly scented and it is easily applied to my hair.

For one week, I used the Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil twice a day, once before leaving the house in the morning and once after a shower in the evening.

My hair is now more tamed and less frizzy. It looks shiner and feels less damaged as well. This hair oil makes my hair feel the healthiest compared to all other hair oils I’ve used before.

I would recommend this to anyone who likes a lightweight feel and instant glow to their hair.

Hair concerns: Frizzy, dull, unruly, dry and brittle hair

My hair normally looks unruly and coarse, but after applying the Bee Choo Origin Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil (to my dry hair), my hair felt soft, smooth, and not heavy.

I applied the hair oil to my dry hair from mid-lengths to ends to tame its frizz and give it a shiny, smooth finish. The hair oil gave my hair an immediate boost and made it look much better.

I also applied the hair oil to my towel-dried hair after a shower and let my hair air dry. The Ceramide Hair Treatment Oil gave my hair a smooth feeling and made it feel soft and airy.

It has a slim packaging and is easy to bring out. It also has a nice scent and isn’t oily. I like that this hair oil is not oily. This hair oil absorbs faster than other hair oils, and it has a lightweight and silky texture.

My hair now feels less coarse and more conditioned, and it doesn’t prickle at the nape of my neck. I’m so much more confident about my hair after one week and I would recommend this hair oil to my family and friends.
