About Bee Choo Origin Signature Herbal Treatment

Before getting into Trixie’s experience, here’s what makes Bee Choo Origin Signature Herbal Treatment different:
- 16 herbal ingredients in one treatment: The treatment combines 16 pure herbal ingredients in a single formula, offering a more comprehensive herbal approach to scalp and hair care compared to treatments that rely on fewer botanical ingredients.
- Powered by traditional Chinese herbs: Alongside plant extracts, the formula features traditional Chinese herbs such as Ginseng, Dang Gui, Ling Zhi and He Shou Wu, which are traditionally valued in herbal hair and scalp care. This combination gives the treatment a distinctly herbal approach rather than relying on a single hero ingredient.
- Cares for the scalp from the roots: Rather than focusing only on the hair strands, the treatment is designed to nourish and revitalise the scalp, remove excess sebum and buildup, and target hair loss at the roots.
- Available in two different options: The Signature Herbal Treatment is available in both Coloured and Colourless options, with the Coloured version also offering a chemical-free way to naturally cover grey or white hair with a reddish-copper tone. The Coloured option includes a 45-minute steaming session, while the Colourless option includes a 30-minute steaming session.
What Was Her Current Hair And Scalp Concerns?

Before the treatment, Trixie shared her main concern was “thinning hair, particularly around her hair parting area.” She also experienced an “itchy scalp from time to time”, although her scalp was otherwise in fairly good condition.
“I’ve noticed that my hair is quite fine and lacks volume and the thinning is more noticeable when I tie my hair up or part it,” she shared.
This wasn’t Trixie’s first time trying to address her hair and scalp concerns. “I’ve tried a few hair and scalp treatments before, but the results were usually quite subtle and temporary.” Trixie shared.
“I was hoping it would help improve the overall health of my scalp, strengthen my hair, and make my hair look fuller and more voluminous over time,” she added.
With these concerns in mind, she headed to Bee Choo Origin, curious to see whether its herbal approach could offer the more targeted care she had been looking for.
Did Her First Impression Give Her Confidence In The Treatment?
For Trixie, her first impression of Bee Choo Origin was a positive one.
“The salon was very clean and welcoming. The staff were also friendly and approachable, which made me feel comfortable right away,” she shared.
With a good first impression, it was time to find out what the treatment actually involved.
What Actually Happened During Her 75-Minute-Plus Treatment?

The treatment took more than 75 minutes and, since Trixie chose the Colourless option, it included a 30-minute steaming session.
From the initial scalp analysis to the application of the herbal formula, and the final wash and dry, the process was more thorough than Trixie had expected.
Here’s how the treatment unfolded:
Her Scalp Was Analysed And Prepped First
Before the treatment began, Trixie was given a detailed scalp assessment to understand her scalp condition.
As she recalled, “The therapist first examined my scalp using a scalp analysis device and explained in detail what type of scalp I have and what she noticed. She then prepped my scalp with a scalp solution before applying the herbal formula thoroughly across my scalp.”
The Application of the Signature Herbal Formula

The therapist then moved on to the main part of the treatment: applying Bee Choo Origin Signature Herbal Mask.
While the mask was being applied, Trixie mentioned that the therapist also explained what makes the treatment different — “its formula combines 16 pure herbal ingredients, including traditional Chinese herbs” such as Ginseng, Dang Gui, Ling Zhi and He Shou Wu, alongside other plant extracts.
“I’ve tried a few hair and scalp treatments before, but I haven’t come across one that uses 16 different herbal ingredients specifically focused on caring for the hair and scalp,” Trixie told us.
She also shared that the mask was designed to “deeply nourish my scalp, balance its pH levels, and remove excess sebum and buildup.” It also targets hair loss at the roots while doubling as a natural, chemical-free solution for grey hair coverage.
“The therapist applied the herbal formula thoroughly across my scalp,” Trixie shared. With the herbal formula covering her scalp, she also noticed that the “treatment had a distinct herbal scent which made the treatment feel quite natural and traditional.”
She Spent 30 Minutes Under A Dome-Shaped Steamer

After the herbal formula was applied, Trixie sat under a dome-shaped steamer for around 30 minutes.
“The 30-minute steaming step stood out to me as I hadn’t experienced a treatment like this before. It was also quite relaxing.”
She added, “I felt warmth from the steamer, but no major discomfort during the treatment.”
Additionally, the therapist also talked her through the treatment, “she explained the different steps along the way and also shared more about my scalp condition and how I could care for it afterwards.”
Her Hair Was Washed And Dried After The Treatment

Once the 30-minute steaming session was complete, the “therapist then rinsed and washed my hair before drying it,” bringing the treatment process to a close.
Despite the treatment taking more than 75 minutes, Trixie felt the time was reasonable because of how thorough the experience was.
“It was more thorough than I expected. I liked that the therapist didn’t just focus on the treatment itself but also took the time to analyse my scalp and explain how I could better care for my hair and scalp.”
Did She Notice A Difference After The Treatment?
The real test came after the treatment was over. While a single session was unlikely to produce an overnight transformation in hair thickness, Trixie was able to notice some changes in how her scalp and hair felt immediately afterwards — and even more the following day.
Here’s what she noticed:
- Her Scalp Felt Cleaner And Fresher: The most immediate difference was how her scalp felt.
“My scalp definitely felt a lot cleaner and fresher after the treatment. It also felt lighter and more comfortable, and I noticed that my scalp wasn’t as itchy as before.”
- Her Hair Felt Softer And More Lightweight The Next Day: The following day, Trixie noticed another change — this time in the way her hair itself felt.
“My hair looked and felt noticeably softer. It also felt quite clean and lightweight without feeling weighed down.”
So, Did The Treatment Live Up To Her Expectations?

After spending more than 75 minutes going through the treatment, Trixie shared ““I liked how thorough the whole experience was, especially the scalp analysis and how the therapist took the time to explain everything to me. I also learnt more about my own scalp – I actually didn’t know I had a dry scalp before this!”
Beyond the consultation, she also enjoyed the treatment itself and noticed that her scalp felt cleaner and less itchy afterwards.
“The treatment was relaxing too and my scalp felt much cleaner and less itchy afterwards.”
She also added “if you’re experiencing thinning hair or other scalp concerns. I think the scalp analysis is really helpful because you get to understand your scalp better and know what kind of care it needs.”
As for whether the treatment lived up to her expectations, Trixie’s answer was a clear yes — although she wasn’t expecting an overnight transformation in hair thickness, but her “scalp felt cleaner and more comfortable, and my hair felt softer the next day.”
