Jo Malone London Wild Bluebell Cologne

I was introduced to this scent through the brand’s press presentation back in 2011 and it was a limited edition. Thankfully, they brought the fragrance back and made it part of their permanent offering!

This is a light and fresh floral scent. Imagine fresh flowers in a garden in the morning, with dew on its leaves. I recommend it for any day occasions, really. Whenever you feel like putting yourself in a light and breezy mood!

I’ve tried many floral scents but this is the most wearable and is very distinctive. I like fragrances that have a unique edge that stands out from others because these have more character. I usually wear it for day occasions – to the office, to brunch with my girlfriends, to playdates with my kids.

My first bottle took a while – perhaps three years – because it’s a limited edition so I used it very sparingly. My subsequent bottles take around one year to finish – I got the smaller 30ml bottles and rotate among maybe 30 to 40 fragrances in a year, so I consider it fast!

Jo Malone London Wild Bluebell Cologne retails for S$38 (9ml), S$130 (30ml), and S$250 (100ml) at Sephora.sg.

Comme des Garçons Wonderoud Eau de Parfum

I’ve always been drawn to fragrances that are genderless – woodier, spicier, and full of earthy depth. The moment I caught a whiff of Wonderoud on a friend, I knew I had to have it in my rotation.

This aromatic masterpiece pays homage to agarwood, one of the world’s most luxurious and precious raw materials. It’s beautifully balanced with rich cedar and sandalwood, grounded by Indonesian patchouli and grassy Haitian vetiver.

The result is a warm, intense, sensual scent that exudes confidence and mystery. The compliments I receive whenever I wear this fragrance are a bonus, too.

When my first bottle ran out, I went into a mild panic since it had been sold out for nearly a year. Thankfully, it’s back in stock, and I’ve since secured a backup. Lesson learned!

Comme des Garçons Wonderoud Eau de Parfum retails for S$195 (100ml) at Club21 and Dover Street Market Singapore.

Diptyque Eau Duelle Eau de Parfum

Vanilla and pepper – a pairing that reminds me of a decadent ice cream I once had at a restaurant. This unexpected combination makes Diptyque’s Eau Duelle my ultimate comfort scent.

Eau Duelle is sweet without being cloying, thanks to its balance of Bourbon vanilla with spicy, aromatic undertones. Earthy notes of calamus and smoky cypriol lend complexity, while juniper and pink pepper bring an airy freshness.

It’s my cosy-day companion, perfect for rainy evenings or even as a bedtime fragrance. However, I rarely wear it to work – it’s so soothing that it puts me in an almost dreamlike state. I’ve gone through two full bottles in my lifetime, and I’ll never be without it.

For those who find the Eau de Parfum too intense, the lighter Eau de Toilette version offers the same charm with a fresher, breezier feel – perfect for our tropical climate.

Diptyque Eau Duelle Eau de Parfum retails for S$278 (75ml) on Escentials.

When I was planning my wedding, I knew I needed to find my signature scent. After testing a few, I found “the one” – Lancôme Miracle Eau De Parfum.

I fell in love with this scent because it’s soft, floral, and feminine – exactly what I was looking for. It has a delicate blend of floral notes with a hint of ginger, pepper, amber and musk, making it fresh without being overpowering.

It took me less than a year to finish the bottle! I couldn’t stop reaching for it – it felt too special not to wear regularly.

I think it’s perfect for beginners, as it’s light and balanced. It has all the right notes to make it feel elegant yet subtle. I’d recommend this for special occasions, especially when you want to embrace your femininity.

Lancôme Miracle Eau De Parfum retails for S$200 (100ml) on Novela. It currently retails for S$79 – click in to view the latest price.

I first came across Narciso Rodriguez Musc Nude For Her while browsing online. The minimalistic yet elegant bottle immediately caught my eye, so I decided to try it out. Once I did, I knew it was something worth trying out!

Now, it’s my go-to for everyday wear because it feels luxurious without being too overpowering, making it the perfect complement to my small collection.

It’s a little stronger than Lancôme’s, but in a good way. It has this warm, musky undertone that feels a bit bolder yet still feminine. Now, it’s my go-to for everyday wear because it feels luxurious without being too overpowering, making it the perfect complement to my collection.

This is a great everyday fragrance that works beautifully for special occasions, office days, and even event nights.

Narciso Rodriguez Musc Nude For Her Eau De Parfum retails for S$109 (30ml), S$162 (50ml), and S$214 (100ml) on Sephora.sg.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Eau de Parfum

My journey with Bombshell started in secondary school when a friend gifted me a bottle – 14 years and three or four bottles later, it’s still a favourite.

This scent is effortlessly feminine without being overly sweet, which I love because cloying fragrances aren’t my thing. Bombshell strikes a perfect balance, giving off a quietly elegant vibe. It’s fruity, floral, and fresh!

It’s the kind of scent that draws compliments every time. Even my male friends have asked to spritz it on themselves!

I use it sparingly, as I rotate it with other perfumes, but it still took me about two years to finish a bottle. If I wore it daily, I could easily finish it in a year. It’s my go-to for cheerful, fun days when I want to feel vibrant and confident.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Eau de Parfum retails for S$109 (50ml) at Victoria’s Secret.

Calvin Klein Obsessed for Women Eau de Parfum

The moment I smelled Obsessed in a store, I was hooked. Its unique blend of lavender, vanilla, and musk struck the perfect balance of woody and sweet – a combination I’ve always loved but often found too masculine in other perfumes.

This scent is beautifully complex. It opens with bright notes of mandarin and bergamot, softened by a floral heart of jasmine and orange blossom. The base notes of amber, oakmoss, and incense add depth and warmth, while a hint of exotic spices keeps it intriguing.

Obsessed feels sensual and versatile, so I save it for special occasions – whether it’s a date night with my partner or a fun outing with friends. It took me about a year to finish the bottle, and every spray is a mood-lifter that leaves a lasting impression.

Calvin Klein Obsessed for Women Eau de Parfum retails for S$151 (100ml) on iShopChangi. It currently retails for S$59.90 – click in to view the latest price.
