It’s hard to pick three things I like about the Fino Premium Touch Hair Mask (there are so many pointers to like about it), but if I had to choose, it’d be the five minutes waiting time, the amazing smell that lasts, and the visible difference in my hair texture.

As expected of a Japanese product, the packaging looks premium and not suspicious at all! The hair mask smells good like when you just leave a salon, and the texture reminds me of a creamy wax.

I used a T-shirt that’s softer than a towel to dry my hair before patting the product in. It made my hair really soft and remained that way even after washing the product away.

Previously, I used a wax hair treatment every day for my frizzy and damaged hair. But with Fino’s hair mask, I’m not exaggerating when I say that I can use it twice a week, and my hair would remain soft and feel the smoothest compared to all other hair masks I’ve used before.

The packaging was convenient as it was in a tub, so I can scoop out the preferred amount onto my hands for each use. The scent was pleasant and not too overpowering and the texture felt jelly-like and a little ‘waxy’ so I immediately knew that it was going to moisturise my dried ends after shampooing my hair.

After rinsing out the mask I had my wide tooth comb ready to detangle my hair. But I barely needed it! I was able to finger-detangle my hair quite easily! I have thick, long hair that gets tangled easily – it’s normally hard to comb through after a shower, but this was a big surprise for me.

Other hair masks’ effects don’t stay as long as before. I always find myself having to find other ways to moisturise my hair by using hair oils during the day.
