About Himalaya Botanique Toothpaste
It’s come to light recently that commercial toothpastes are laden with chemicals and ingredients that are bad for your body. A good alternative? Toothpastes made of organic ingredients, of course.
One of the notable organic toothpastes in the market is definitely the Himalaya Botanique Toothpaste range. Made with 100% organic certified ingredients, it is also free of the common chemicals found in commercial toothpastes, making it safe to use for just about everyone. There are two distinct categories within the range: Complete Care, and Whitening, depending on your needs.

To be totally honest, I don’t usually give much thought to the toothpaste that I use. I simply go for whatever is most convenient or affordable on the shelves of supermarkets, picking them up whenever I run out while replenishing other groceries.
This is until I found out about the number of questionable chemicals that can actually be found in regular toothpaste. And considering how toothpaste goes into our mouths, the thought that I’ve been exposing myself to so much chemicals is pretty nasty.
I’m surprised to know that there are botanical ones around, and they aren’t even that hard to find – Himalaya carries them. I’ve previously already tried their masks, cleansers, and moisturisers, so I’m very familiar with it and trust it.
I’ve been using the Himalaya Botanique Complete Care toothpaste. My first impression was the herbal taste that it has – compared to regular ones that usually overpower with menthol. In terms of usage, it works exactly like any other toothpaste out there – it foams well despite not containing any SLS, and feels good on the teeth.
However, one thing that really differentiates the Himalaya Botanique toothpaste that I notice is the long duration of time it was able to keep my breath fresh. Typically, with regular toothpaste, I would not be able to taste the freshness in breath after less than an hour. But if I don’t consume any food, the Himalaya Botanique toothpaste can keep my breath fresh for hours. This makes it a great product to pop in my makeup kit in case I need to freshen up my breath after lunch before any important meeting.
Besides better breath, I also notice that the toothpaste cleans well and is able to get rid of any plaque easily. I also notice that my teeth look cleaner and brighter than before – which is definitely a plus point.
