At Olson Studio, the staff were very meticulous and explained that they mixed five different colours to achieve my desired ash-green-brown shade. I showed them a picture from Xiaohongshu, and they were able to match it perfectly.

There was no hard selling, and the entire process took only two hours. Throughout the process, they kept me informed about what to expect, and everyone was very pleasant and friendly. I felt incredibly well taken care of during my time at the salon.

Olson Studio is cosy and the staff are friendly and professional. They check in to ask if everything is okay and if I’m feeling comfortable throughout the process. I felt like my hair was in good hands. Also, the entire treatment was really fast (at most two hours), which is great since I really dread sitting in the salon all day.

I actually let them suggest a hair colour for me, and we went with an ashy red. However, since my original hair already had quite a bit of an orange tone from previous dye jobs, the end result was an ashy orangey red.

I really like this colour and was happy with how vibrant it looks, even near my scalp where my original black hair shows a tone of orangey red. Also, my hair before the colouring service was very uneven from all the previous bleaching and dyeing, but they managed to dye it evenly in the end without bleaching.

My hair also looks healthy and smooth after dyeing, as no harsh chemicals were used. Overall, I’m really happy with my hair colour to the point that I ended up taking a lot of selfies with it.

The colour is still as vibrant, and my hair is still smooth and soft. Also, I noticed that the hair dye didn’t come off when I washed it for the first time. Usually, when I dye my hair red, the first few washes are stained with red dye, so I’m quite impressed with that.
