If you’ve ever been curious about how TWICE’s Mina keeps her skin looking effortlessly perfect and glassy both on stage and off, you’re in for a delight.
The Japanese pop star, celebrated for her graceful looks and serene elegance, recently shared her favourite SK-II skincare and makeup essentials (she’s SK-II’s global brand ambassador).
From the gentle methods she relies on to maintain her calm and clear complexion to the subtle beauty hacks that boost her natural radiance, Mina’s routine is as polished as she is.
Let’s take a closer look at the products and practices that contribute to her glowing appearance.
Cleansing

Mina takes a gentle approach to cleansing by washing her face with just water in the morning, along with the Facial Treatment Cleansing Oil (S$103).
At night, she adds the Facial Treatment Gentle Cleanser (S$103) for thorough double cleansing that cleans all impurities off her skin.
Lotion

Her go-to lotion is Facial Treatment Essence (S$133). She warms it in her hands before putting it on her face, gently pressing it in with care.
Mina has been a fan of this for a few years now. She loves its light and watery texture, which instantly refreshes her skin. She takes her time applying two layers of the essence, enjoying the moment as part of her skincare routine.
She prefers to keep the product in the fridge for an added cooling and soothing effect, which comes in handy on performance days when her skin feels hot and sweaty.
Serum

Mina grabs the Genoptics Infinite Aura Essence (S$365). It’s been a go-to in her routine for ages, and she mentions that people always compliment her skin when she applies it. As she gently swipes and taps the product onto her skin, she praises its light and refreshing fragrance.
Cream

Her go-to cream? Skin Power Advanced Airy Cream (S$283). She loves applying it both in the morning and at night for that light hydration. It serves as a fantastic, airy foundation that won’t mess with her makeup.
Sheet Mask & Mina’s Tips

Before special occasions or after a long day of events and performances, she gives her skin an extra boost of nourishment with the Facial Treatment Mask (S$149). She appreciates the rich amount of serum packed in each sheet, which allows the mask to stay wet even after 15 minutes.
Mina shares how she’s been using an SK-II routine to get her skin looking even and stable. Besides the products, she also maintains a healthy lifestyle by prioritising sleep. On hectic days, she sneaks in naps and catches up on sleep for up to 10 hours when she has days off.
Primer

She creates an even and smooth base using the Genoptics CC Primer in Rosy Pink (S$98). Packed with brightening ingredients like niacinamide and SPF 50+, this versatile primer gives her a beautiful and even appearance. She uses it alone on her days off for a natural, lit-from-within complexion.
She applies it in dots on her cheeks, forehead, and chin, before swiping and tapping it in. Mina says she tries to be as gentle with her skin as possible and avoids aggressive rubbing.
Its moisturising properties leave her skin hydrated throughout the day while looking seamless, and she enthusiastically recommends it to everyone who needs a lightweight, no-nonsense primer.
Concealer

As Mina struggles with dry skin, she opts for cream-based concealers like the glow Not Dry Concealer (S$34).
Dipping into the salmon pink shade with a concealer brush, she blends it out on the back of her hand before applying it in a triangular zone under her eyes and into the corners of her nose.

Using the white shade, she brightens and lifts her face by applying it around the bottom corners of her lips and chin. She gently blends both shades out with her fingers.
Brows

To stay consistent with her natural makeup for the day, Mina uses the ENTROPY Tough Brow Sculpture in Walnut (S$19.66) to fill in and extend the tail ends of her brows. Subtly shaping her brows, the result is a fluffy, cute and airy brow that perfectly fits Mina’s serene demeanour.
Eyes

Using the Lummir Light On Eyes Shadow Palette 05 (S$47.25), she dabs a light beige shade and blends it along her eyelids. Mina comments that she always goes for beige-pink shades to add a touch of softness to her eyes.

Using the Chacott Crayon Concealer in Light Ocher (S$35.47), she highlights her aegyo-sal along the middle and blends it out with her fingertips. The result is an instantly plump, 3-D looking eyebag that adds a touch of youth to her beauty.
To further define the shadow of the eyebag, she dips into the contour shade of the Judydoll 2 IN 1 Highlighter Contour Palette in 04 (S$15.90) with a precise lining brush. Mina says that aegyosal has become a must-have feature of her makeup as it brightens the face and simultaneously hides dark circles.

With her Lummir eyeshadow palette, she uses a pink-taupe shade to draw her undereye triangle, in turn defining her eyes and adding colour.
Highlighting and Blush

Using her 2-in-1 highlighting and contour palette, she uses the matte white highlighter to further brighten and conceal her dark circles.
She comments that she opts for a matte highlighter, as something too pearly and sparkly looks out of place in her natural makeup. She proceeds to apply highlighter to the tip of her nose and the inner corners of her eyes.

Mina adds a soft flush to her cheeks with the NUEGRAY Sway Cheek Blusher 5 (~S$24.40). As a pigmented cream blush, she carefully taps it with her finger and blends it along the apples of her cheeks, nose tip, and chin.
Lips

Finally, she completes the look with a glossy lip tint. Using the ENTROPY Charm Tint Ruby Charm (S$21.54), she draws thin lines on her lips before blending it out with her finger for a smooth finish.
