It’s devastating. Last year we had to say goodbye to Clarisonic and this year, another beloved beauty brand is bidding farewell. We’re talking about Becca Cosmetics.
The brand announced that they will be closing in September 2021 through an Instagram post, as well as a message on their website.
Becca Cosmetics shares that the its business has taken a hit from the impact of the global pandemic, along with an accumulation of challenges, and it is unable to withstand these impacts anymore. As such, Becca Cosmetics has made the decision to close down the brand at the end of September 2021.
The brand was founded exactly 20 years ago in 2001 in Perth, Australia, and has been committed to helping their customers create effortlessly glowing complexion products for every skin and colour.
Their commitment to inclusivity shows in the wide variety of shades offered in their base makeup. The brand has also been dedicated to the well-being of all living things, and has been cruelty-free and PETA-certified.
Best known for its highlighter – the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter, Becca Cosmetics also had an impressive star-studded roster of collaborations with celebrities and influencers including Jaclyn Hill, Chrissy Teigen, and Khloe Kardashian.

We’re sad that one of our favourite brands had to go, and that we may not be able to get hold of the products we love anymore.
So before the brand is gone for good, here are the products we recommend you stock up on, pronto!

You probably wouldn’t think we’d have left this out, would you? Of course, their famous highlighter.
This is a highly rated highlighter that is known for its ultra-buttery, melt-into-your-skin texture and delivers a radiant glow that looks super natural.
This iconic highlighter is well-loved because it is able to build and blend effortlessly without looking too glittery or chalky, and is able to blend well on top of liquid foundation to give a dewy glow.
Most of the shades are already sold out on Sephora.sg but thankfully the popular Moonstone shade is still available (but low in stocks).

2. Becca Cosmetics First Light Priming Filter
A product loved by makeup artists, this helps “wake” your skin up so it appears fresh and hydrated before you start on your makeup routine.
Consider it a saviour for dull, lacklustre complexions, as this helps deliver a fresh canvas for all-day makeup wear. Besides hydrating your skin and energising its appearance, it also contains ingredients that brightens and evens out imperfections.
Becca Cosmetics First Light Priming Filter retails for S$59 for 30ml but Sephora is offering it at 20% off at S$47.20. The 15ml variant is currently out of stock.
3. Becca Cosmetics Zero No Pigment Foundation
When Becca Cosmetics launched this product last year (along with a series of other makeup-and-skincare hybrid products), it created a buzz in the beauty space.
This is created for those who are looking to take a break from makeup but still wants to pull off a fresh-looking complexion. It helps to smooth out skin texture, blur out imperfections, and deliver a transparent-matte finish.
In other words, you can truly achieve a I-woke-up-like-this look with with a “foundation” that makes your skin looks like your skin but better.

4. Becca Cosmetics Under Eye Brightening Corrector
This is a full-coverage colour corrector that helps brighten dark eye circles without concealing them. Instead, it contains peach- and apricot-toned colour correctors with light-reflecting illuminators to deflect light away from the dark tones under your eyes.
You can use this to create an even base for concealer or wear it on its own.
Becca Cosmetics Under Eye Brightening Corrector retails for S$48 at Sephora. It is available in two shades but the Medium to Deep shade is currently out of stock.
5. Becca Cosmetics Mineral Blush
This may not sound as sexy as other products in this list and is less talked-about than them, but OG Becca fans will recognise this as the product that made them fall in love with the brand. You’ll see what we mean when you look at the glowing – no pun intended – reviews it has.
This mineral blush is made with micro-fine particles for effortless application and even contains antioxidant vitamins to nourish your skin. But what makes most people love it is the beautiful, natural-looking glow it delivers that makes your complexion perk up instantly.
Becca Cosmetics Mineral Blush retails for S$49 and is available in four shades at Sephora. Three of them are already out of stock but you can still get hold of Songbird, a flattering peachy pink shade. Note that stocks for it are low – so our advice is to grab it fast!
6. Becca Cosmetics Ultimate Lipstick Love
This moisturising lipstick has an ultra-creamy formula and is this editor’s personal favourite.
While it’s not transfer-proof, it is well-loved for how hydrating it is and how it softens the appearance of your lips.
The luxe lipstick case with secure magnetic closure also makes it extra enjoyable to use.
Becca Cosmetics Ultimate Lipstick Love retails for S$38 and available in 39 shades at Sephora. 12 of the colours are already unavailable.
7. Becca Cosmetics Kabuki Brush
Another product that OG fans will rave about is this kabuki brush.
Made for powders, it has a flat, dense shape to pick up the ideal amount of product, and you’ll love how it blends easily to deliver a soft, airbrushed finish. It is definitely an investment that will give you mileage for a long time.

Becca Cosmetics Ultimate Coverage 24 Hour Foundation retails for S$68 at Sephora and it’s currently available at 50% off, at just S$34. Many of the lighter colours are unavailable at the moment but you can try your luck if you have darker skin tones.
10. Becca Cosmetics Light Shifter Dewing Tint Moisturizer
This is the newest product by the Becca Cosmetics – a tinted moisturiser that is sheer and delivers a dewy finish.
