Daily Vanity Logo

Your makeup looks aren’t the only thing you can experiment with. With CHANEL Beauty’s latest collection of beauty tools in vibrant hues, the CODES COULEUR collection, you’ll be able to express yourself every day through your vanity or on the go.

The collection centres around the idea that “each CHANEL colour is a code”, each hue making contrasts more distinct, and establishing relationships of brightness and saturation with one another.

As a celebration of colour, the collection emphasises the interconnectedness of colours on the wheel and takes a step out of CHANEL’s usual sleek black-and-white aesthetic. It features nine distinctive colours, each curated for the limited edition series.

The colour codes

There’s something for everyone with these new shades. For lovers of the hyperfeminine look, you can opt for a set of pastel CHANEL Beauty tools in Ballerina (a light pink) or Immortelle (a pastel lilac).

Get reminded of relaxing summer days at the beach with colours like Cavalier Seul (a sage green), Premiere Dame (a vibrant coral), and Fugueuse (a deep blue).

Standout shades that seem to capture the essence of summer fruits and tastes include Ovni (a tangy yellow), Incendiarie (an orange red), and Diva (a fuchsia pink).

Rouge Noir, in particular, is an ode to the N°5 fragrance, where the intensity of red and black infuse seamlessly together to form a shade that is neither entirely Burgundy or Black.

These sleek but fun Codes Couleur nail files (S$40) will be part of the reason we look forward to doing at-home manicures. Offered in all nine shades from the collection, they are each adorned with the iconic double C logo in a subtle but still eye-catching way.

Elevate your daily glam with the Codes Couleur Brushes Set (S$268), a coloured cylindrical zip-around case that holds three of the luxury house’s most essential brushes: N°200 Retractable Dual-Ended Eyeshadow, N°110 Blush, and N°101 Foundation 2-In-1 Fluid & Powder.

Finally, you can express your personal style through your touch-ups on the go with the Codes Couleur Compact Mirror (S$66). Feeling bolder? Mix and match the shades of all three beauty tools to jazz up your vanity this summer.

While all nine shades will be available online, four of them will be featured as online exclusives, so if you’ve got your heart set on a colour code, register your interest for the CODES COULEUR collection here ahead of its launch on 1 July 2023.
